bros, anyone of u guys seen "jackass the movie 1", if u enjoy really asinine antics by grown up men doing really dumbass jokes and just being plain jerks and assholes then u would enjoy this laugh out loud ( or b grossed out/turned off) movie.

recently, i saw akira kurosawa's seven samurai. astig. I have that on DVD. Totally cool. It was the inspiration for the classic western "The Magnificent Seven" (which I also have on DVD).

i didn't like Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN very much (haven't met a guy who didn't like it though heheh) pero i liked EL CRIMEN DEL PADRE AMARO, which also starred that sizzling mexican actor gael garcia bernal. *swoon* ha??? porn star ba yung actress sa TRANSPORTER? e mukhang anghel a. i've been trying to remember where else i've seen that actor jason statham. oo nga sa SNATCH, tsaka sa CELLULAR sya yung kidnapper? SIN CITY is good nga, kuhang-kuha raw yung comicbook original sabi nung mga nakabasa. pero kung blood and gore din lamang e may tatalo pa ba kay quentin tarantino (see KILL BILL VOL. 1, dabest!!). ;D Quentin Tarantino is a guest director in Sin City, kya nga brutal din ang patayan sa sin city like kill bill.

"The Forgotten" a good movie.... it is about ahhh?? something about?? oh my!!! I forgotten.... it's the one with julianne moore, where she lost her son, or at least she thinks she did but everyone else around her denies she ever had a son. and then it turns out aliens and the government were behind the whole shebang. nainis ako sa twist na yan. parang yung ibang movies ni m. knight shyamalan (SIGNS and THE VILLAGE), maganda execution pero annoying ang conclusion.

THE ASSASSINATION OF RICHARD NIXON (starring Sean Penn, Naomi Watts, Don Cheadle)
Tragic story about a GSM (galit-sa-mundo [angry-at-the-world]) man.
The film really takes you into the protagonist's world of utter frustration & hopelessness, which leads him to devise a plan to bring down the biggest bully of them all...the President of the USA.
Great production design (setting in the the 70's) & performance by Penn (reminiscent of Mystic River). One of the best movies I've seen recently.

uy, is that a new movie? haven't seen the trailers. i love sean penn ;D it's a new movie. went straight to video release here, though. local distriburtors probably thought it won't make much cash in the box office. rent it from your nearest video city outlet extremely moving performance by Penn. highly recommended.
