I'm torn between Hughes and Penn. They are both great. I do hope somebody posts it at youtube like Crocop's Pride OWGP fights.
The episodes in RPN are late. They are partners with Solar Entertainment. I miss Pride FC at Solar. They have better fighters. Solar said they are still acquiring rights to show Pride again. No word on that yet.

The bad boy from Huntington beach will get his chance to get his @$$ whooped by Chuck Lidell soon.
I hope the Pride vs UFC match comes to life. Chuck wants to fight. Dana White (UFC President) won't let it happen to protect the UFC name. The negotiations for the Lidell-Silva match bogged down even before Wand lost to Crocop. Now Pride is offering Crocop to fight Silva. They both want to fight but UFC looks like it's afraid that their champ will be schooled in MMA.
We've been missing a lot in UFC-Pridebecause of availability in Solar.

do we have this "event" sa atin? underground? We have URCC, now usually held in Araneta. Their progress is great. Lost 0-4 to China though 2 events ago. My former boxing trainer fights there. Not much money fighting but the exposure gets him personal training clients that he doesn't teach in the gym anymore. |

 Lidell got ktfo! Another Pride fighter with a UFC belt. Crocop got derailed but Big Nog is on the way. Altho Hendo is next, I'd rather see him at 185. Rampage my be too strong. Shogun will be a better match. So who's next, Gomi at 155? Fighters I'd like to see in the UFC: Vera (Pinoy pride, will be more competitive at 205) Rua brothers Li'l Nog Arona (It's going to be a hugging match on the ground with Ortiz) Filho Fedor Alistair Overeem (Pride 205 gatekeeper) The fighters above will make the current UFC contenders look like 2nd rate fighters. |
