Its not how I know you or maybe UFC means another thing to you  oooopppppsssss....sorry OT dont worry the meds are wearing off I saw that famous UFC at Trinoma few months back...I didnt get his name though coz his bodyguards scared me the most. Seems like same music when he was still in pride. It was a good UFC event.
The prodigy really good. I could believe sherk willing to stand up fighting. He should change his stragedy after round 1. He got pumelled a job all night. He is 3 inches shorter and he doesnt have the speed that he used to be when still taking that magic drugs ;D.

Filipino Brandon Vera was cheated in UFC85 Bedlam. The fight was stopped by the referee 10-15secs before the 1st round ends. I wasn't able to see the fight but as per the reviews and from another forum, they are planning to petition that referee to be gone forever.

Pero I wouldnt entirely blame the ref either
Wala kasi clear definition of intelligently defending oneself , so it would all depend on the ref's opinion. And the ref's opinion was Vera wasnt intelligently defending himself
and no ref wants to be responsible for a career ending injury sa isang fighter
That said , it's not the ref's job to decide who wins the fight
Ika nga ni BJM , these are the best HWs dapat they should be given a chance to remove themselves from a bad position ( Vera ) if wala naman damage
It was starting to be a great fight pa naman
The refs and the judges need more training

Although Dan Miragliotta may have stopped the fight prematurely because of the lack of damage, his main duty is to ensure the safety of the fighters. Vera didn't do anything to improve his position, he just curled and covered up. One punch in reply, wrist control or an attempt to buck off Werdum may have changed the ref's decision. As a Vera fan, I wished the ref didn't stop the fight. But as far as the stoppage is concerned, it's not all the ref's fault.  |

Actually Brandon hurt the guy on the early round. The ref really stop prematurely. He was not landing good shot. Vera defense on his face was unusual though. When the ref ask if his ok he answer back. You can see after stopping the fight he got up and start protesting the decision. The fans really disappointed. This is the second time this ref did a very bad decision. The guy wont give a rematch.
He really proud to be a PINOY. His short and banner is the Philippine flag. He lobbying heavy to have UFC fights in Pinas.
