Great Event. Congrats to Sabak for organizing a great event.
If I may have a suggestion, next time maybe some portalets near or in the transition area. Might keep people from peeing in the track. Hehe, you know who you are!!! ;D
Thanks to King and the rest All Terra for taking us in when our tent person didn't bring a complete tent.

Lupit mo qt_kat! (trans: superwoman) I admire your slowly but surely pace and patience. You and bikedaddy rocks! I hope I can build a bike for my wife so we can enjoy biking together like you couple do.
This race is definitely tougher than the 24hr! My butt and palm are numb and swollen which I did not experience in the 24hr race.
Congrats to Sabak! Hope you can organize more races like this (sunbolt girls included)

Sunbolt (girls) and Kate rule! KUDOS to SABAK for a great great race.... fun filled [music, DJ, huge stage, great coverage, bands and wow-of-all-wow specatucular fireworks!] well organized[many marshals, lapping supervisors, strict gate keeping and and ouch-of-all-ouch the toughest short course bar none] Thanks to Ricky M., Ted. Tom, Norman, Boy S. and Edwin M.! superb job guys! Congrats to all who joined and tried to conquer the course and themselves...finished or not: we all won! how was it?: my first 4 laps found me doubting if I could finish the race...my body was aching like hell! as Raul said:"the course is for All Mountain bikes not XC race bikes..its jackhammer galore!" Im happy with my performance..the heat was terrible but the night rides were heaven on wheels! I experienced hyper extension of my left knee already on my last 2 laps...that did it. The number 28 is a nice nice number na for this oldie Thanks to Edgar enzo for the spare wheelset which Im happy not to use since I didnt have any flats (thanks, mybike) ...and for making my ride softer @ 23lap onwards (you were a little late brad Edgar but dang I love what you did to my "rigid" bike)

Woke up this am to aches in lower back, legs, neck, palms. Still, congrats to SABAK for one great race! Of course, congrats to all the winners and finishers. This just proves that were all a little kookoo about mtbiking. I just barely made the minimum 25 laps before lights became mandatory. But by then my legs were pretty shot (cramps on hamstrings on lap 24, cramps on inner thigh on lap 25) so putting in a few more laps was doubtful. Needed to head home for daddy duties anyway. Was planning to return for the post race events, but after having showered, eaten, played with the kids, and flopped on the bed...it was Sunday am when I woke up. Hey Ramon, next time I'll do a team event

Congrats to Sabak for a great event! Thats how a race should be organized. Excellent finale as well! Congrats to all the winners and the finishers! Congrats to dandan!!!!!!!!! Galeng mo talaga idol!!!!!! Congrats to jingo and team mates! - actually, i really knew you would win! Had the pleasure of finally meeting dragunov - sayang you should have joined the race brad! Also met some pmtbikers like speedster, jakob, and dranrev. Thanks for the help jakob! I also saw qt_kat in the race - congrats po! your husband must be so proud! Congrats on your new bike alibangbang! My whole body is so sore today so i might just go out and get a massage. Also, I felt very dehydrated this morning despite chugging down several liters of electrolyte water yesterday. I downed 1.2 liters within an hour when i woke up and then another liter 30 minutes later. And then around half a liter an hour or two after. It was strange not getting the urge to urinate after drinking that much liquid and i went to the bathroom around 3 or 4 pm. What an exercise hangover! Anyway, what a great way to end the year! God bless to all!

i think it was doc kate who said that the best training for the ride yesterday was to operate a jackhammer whole day.true enough. most of the riders pains are hand, wrist and arm pains. as for me, i think i have to mate my right arm to my shoulder, and untangle my internals. overall, the race was very well planned. the place was good. the trail was in clear view from the tents. there is even a stretch of the trail that passes in front of the tents/crowd. the trail itself was superb. The race ended literally with a bang. with the fantastic fireworks display lighting the dark sky. WELL DONE SABAK!!! that guy Ricky M. is one great cool dude. CONGRATS to the punishers and the finishers!!!

congrats to all my co-competitors (not that i was competitive hehe), especially my two mens health all terra/microsoft teammates, dandan & rommel (1st & fourth i think). congrats to sabak! great organization and the racecourse has great potential for future races! you guys should make it a regular short track xc venue. it reminded me a little of the divine mercy course in san mateo and the tampines course in singapore. i hope the back portion of the course gets smoother over time though. right now it's too rough for an endurance race! ouch! my hands!

This is my first race and it was great. It was nice to meet a fellow PinoyMTBiker in person. Arci, Ronald, Trance, Enzo, Pete, Arnel, Oceanrider, Doc kate and Bikedaddy and many more. Doc Kate I know you will win in that category because you showed the passion of our sport. To my teammates Speedster and Jakob. Let's do this again next year. ;D To SABAK Good Job. To all PinoyMTBiker folks God Bless us all. I have to log off now I need to take more Alaxan FR

congrats to everyone who raced (and watched) yesterday! wish I could've dropped by but I had to do some work in the morning...deadlines deadlines. did a post-race ride late this afternoon and it seems a bit smoother than last week hehe one thing though, there is a lot of trash on the roadside and the center island, I do hope it gets cleaned up a nice track and definitely a nice venue for short (or long hehe) rides.

quoted myself in the Event Gallery thread for my speech.... Right now, I'm still feeling the high from yesterday's race. Too much adrenaline pumping in my system that I don't feel any aches in my body. (or maybe its the Bacardi ) What can I say? All your congratulatory remarks made me speechless. Anyway, here goes my speech ;D ....... I would like to thank the Lord Almighty for giving me my 2nd chance at life....for giving me back my strength that I thought I've lost after suffering a stroke early last year. He protected me all through out coz I finished the race unscathed. I never imagined that I would be able to finish the race and emerge as the winner. Thank you Lord. I would like to thank my wonderful hubby bikedaddy for his never ending support in everything I do....for always believing that I can do it....for being there when I needed him....and for his undying love. And for that I will share with you my prize ;D I would like to thank Tofi for lending me his lights, though it poorly lighted the track, it still showed me a glimpse of the track and I was able to pedal some more during the night. ;D ;D ;D I would like to thank Sabak and all the sponsors for putting up a race like this and for the wonderful prize of an overnight stay at Bellevue Hotel with free breakfast for two plus cash. Helmets off to you guys! Thank you to all the participants of the race. No major accidents happened in the race because you were all courteous and great in singing Beyonce's song........to the left, to the left. ;D ;D ;D To my PinoyMTBiker family, thank you all. You've added so much joy to our sport. Mountainbiking wouldn't be as much fun without you guys to interact with. See you all at the next race and remember to always Livestrong! and some more replies... bruce I'll bring the meatloaf only if you'll drink two shots of Bacardi. ;D @shuzz Thanks. Bellevue is really a nice place to relax after a race. A grand prize indeed. @charles Too bad I didn't get to meet you. Thanks for your compliment. I'd say build that bike for your wife right away. That's what my hubby did and got me hooked into mountainbiking. arnel Thank you for your constant praises. Good thing you persevered and was able to finish the required laps and more. That's all that matters, aight! @mrsm Thanks Mitch. You should have joined too, sis. It was fun from start to finish. Hope to see you and Matt next time.
