guys and girls!....we are getting there!...finalizing the nitty gritty of the race...have the official entry form for the race but don't know how to attach it to the forum.... Just to update...track/trail is about 3kms....it will be finished hopefully by this Thursday Nov29....from what I hear from Ricky M...the track is beautiful!!! ...a little bit of everything! There will be cash prizes for the Champion and the Runner Up per division.... Response from sponsors/partners/supporters/friends have been VERY positive and things are turning out rosy for the event! We will have some raffle items from stickers, lubes, shirts, grips, shades, etc...etc... Looking forward to seeing people who share the same passion and love for OUR sport...and to celebrating the camraderie that is prevalent in our cycling community especially during this holiday season! Ingat guys! If you need some more info just call Sabak...Thanks!

Bruce, try using wikimapia. I've marked the race track. Its at the back of Petron Station along Commerce Avenue in Filinvest. We did a recon just this afternoon. I will post the pics later.

36 laps is pretty heavy for most solo riders who are out just to finish. in the past 2 24hr races the minimum solo requirement was the same as the minimum per team rider. you guys might want to consider adjusting that.

Tito Arci, These 12Hr (or 24Hr) races are more endurance races rather than sprints. And they just keep on stretching it even longer. Wow... What are the odds of riders like us (almost/Senior citizens) finishing the required distance without having our family and friends wait for us and finishing their dinners... twice? 3Kms is almost like the loop I do in MOA by the seaside. On a given Sunday, I do 4 loops aggressively, take a rest have my McDo breakfast, then do an additional 2 more (or 3) loops leisurely. Total time = 3 hrs (from 6 to 9am) Multiplied by 4 to make 12hrs, I would make a total of 28 loops, mathematically speaking. That means I eat breakfast 4 times and still not make the 36! Oh well... Should have taken the sport when I was younger... Good luck to everybody! Join now! It doesn't get any easier next time! Save me a space in the cheering squad!!! ;D ;D ;D

judging from the pics taken by qtkat its relatively flat and no technical portions...has someone already taken his average lap time on the course?

Those pics are deceiving Tolits. ;D More surprises await the racers. We failed to take pictures of the technical portions and the uphills. But then with your strength and skills, it will just be a walk in the park.
