A crash makes you wiser on things that you can and can't do. It's a skill level check and balance. Gives you learning lessons to improve or regain your lost skill level from BMX days (ngeee buking) or XC days during the 90's...
crash = sprains or broken bones
Right Capt. Crash?
peace brad!

cow shite even at 150 mph aint gna hurt as bad as flesh vs earth....lol its gna stick n stain tho..
what we really learn from a crash is to develop new approaches towards the obstacles that put you in a world of hurt... try different stuff out, push, get back-up and push some more.....
boundaries and limits are only set in your mind... they work differently when your actually doing it.
but seriously crashing is just part of the fun... gravity aint stronger.. thats why DH or FR are still at its evolution stage.. riders, bikes, terrain and etc are all evolving the further we push the boundaries of whats possible and impossible the farther we discover what we are able to achieve as an individual/ sport......... crashing is given when it comes to trial n error
there are those who fall down n dont get up, and there are those who fall down and pick up their butts and try again.........its how and what you make of yourself when it comes to picking up ur ass and continue pushing the limitless possibilities of mt biking.
keep it fun........ even when ur in the hospital keep everything fun..........live stronger!

one more: gravity is a given, its how u use gravity as factor to your advantage... its not an obstacle...
Embrace gravity as a friend, its you vs the terrain .... use it to your advantage.

What I've learned?
I learned to re-track...reviewed the trails I've been...Ask myself what went wrong? And figured out how to get it done, smoothly, safe and stable...When you ride, feel the speed but ride safe and stable...

What I learned from a crash is that...
There is no room for daydreaming in the saddle.
A rider must be alert, make decisions and follow through!
Daydreaming is best done in a couch!
or else... Ouch!

I learned that there would always be this voice in me.
Begging me to hit that crash site again.
Alone.
And after that, to hit it again. This time harder. And again... until that spot begs me to stop and admit that it has been conquered.
I'm just worried that sometimes I miss that voice too much. ;D

when you're really tired....it will play havoc on your handling, body english and all...then you'll rediscover the beauty of walking and tell yourself its wiser.

Will remember the moral. Avoiding abrupty, lose traction. Go straight ahead instead and preserve balance. Correct?

After the crash....I learned
- To say Goodbye to your loved ones before a ride. - To crash is pointless unless you learned something from it. - That while at high speeds to concentrate and stop the temptation of being distracted by cute girls in mini - To respect Physics. - To respect intuition. - To think that the real fun is just starting. - That Its another tale to be told. - That the bike is tougher than the rider but the will power of the rider is unmatchable. - That Satan rejected me from hell, ""No Riders allowed in hell"" - To to be more creative in creating excuses. - To thank God always for his Mortal Rider shall ride the next day.

Ah guys I really need an education on trail riding. Would you guys help me out?
I been to alot of crashes not on trails but on road. So far i smart out my ride by using clipless. But that never help. So I got back to platform pedal and reallize its time for me to break free from getting stock on the clipless pedals attach to my shoe.
Any way I am available on Sundays if ever you want to give me a few educations on trail rides, just email me.

Falling doesn't hurt!
It's the sudden stop at the end of the fall that gets you...

i learned that life is like a ride.... sometimes its smooth...... sometimes its rough..... sometimes its a hill climb, where u must learn to stop kung d na kaya paakyat..hehehehe...... some times its a down hill... konting ingat kasi madalas semplang...... pero the best part of a crash is when u stand up, ride ur bike again then learn from your mistakes...... ;D ;D.....RIDE lang ng RIDE kung may sugat, pilay o ano man yan.... kasali yan sa riding.. kung ayaw mo masugatan... bili ng trainer wheel ;D ;D

here are some shots of my battle wounds from the crash last Feb 25th at La Mesa: The encircled parts of the collage is my fractured index knuckle. What I've learned: - full face helmets work - it's hard to write using the left hand (I'm a rightie) - good thing bones grow back -you get all the support that you get, when you least expect it - the greatest lesson: NO REGRETS!It's been almost 3 months and i miss the saddle. Sounds crazy but sometimes i wear my jersey, bike shorts ~ the whole biking gear with helmet and walk around the house - just to have a 'feel' of it. ... and yes, i have a trainer (and two more bikes being built). ;D
