anshwa: tnx sir, more practice pa ako =) Ser, I'm pretty sure you'll be sick at it in a very short time. And you did it right by popping off that mellow ramp. Generally, the steeper the tranny, the lesser you pull on the handlebar - unless ofcourse you want to boost for your tricks. Keep it up, brad! Now you're getting me amped to ride tonight... ;D

does anyone have a design of a wooden ramp? like those skinnies??? it's probably useful to know how to jump even just riding around trails... especially knowing and experiencing how to have a safe landing...

patrik:
you pedalkick a lot already ;D sorry to burst bubbles for the ones who got Juju hubs, but when you pedalkick a lot with Jujus, which are designed specifically for XC, it will get to a wear and tear situation in the soonest possible time.
My suggestion is get the hubs from FUNN, the Big Bertha at least, it has a....i forgot how it's called by the company ;D, but it has this special locking effect for Discs(?) which is essential for peeps who pedalkick a lot.
efren (skarhed) knows about that tech of Funn hubs coz he has one i guess, told me those hubs are really bombproof, i just don't know about the price though, i'm sure it's quite pricey than the Jujus, but when you're conscious about long term usage and durability, Funn's the way to go. And besides, i tried getting one myself but it's very rare here, Jane of Kings say it's per order but still no go. Now i regret not buying Raven's pair before.
pero kung normal bunnyhops, pivots, ride ups and the usual urban rides, the Jujus will be fine ;D
I knew it that you're gonna break your Hubs eventually heheheh

going back to the topic (sorry)
last sunday at The Haro Cup, good track hah! Maybe we could set up some rides goin' there @ UP so we can try the track itself, so we can practice ;D the high mound used for Big Air DirtJump seems so steep up to the tip that'll guarantee you Big Air indeed ;D kakatakot!

vertigo - thanks for the tips! i know one day i'll get me a headspin rear hub or something similar. its' for my hardtail slalom rig. i've got this MOB slalom rig i bought three years ago (it was called slalom then, not yet 4x), it has boxed chain and seatstays and we all know what that means = no flex. i can now say that it's the rearhub that gets the punishment. i'm using a fast ace (or fatboy) rear hub and the sprocket wiggles a bit now. i can only do weenie drops (less than 2 feet), stairs, and street curb bunnyhops, just making that clear .

@ Fattire: Owen how are you man!
yeah, with the chosen discipline we have that is UA, DJ, Trials, it's always the rear hub that's goin' bonkers after much abuse, you're good with the Headspins alright!
MOB slalom? that's a rare one brad! how about selling us your 247?....;D

Those are called actuations, its the no of clicks per revolution of the freehub. Go for dabomb if you cant get your hands on FUNN hubs. Best is to go for Chris King hubs for pedal kicks the full heavyduty option for rear only is around P22T SSteel hub axle and freehub. ordinary ones are just P18T for the rear free shipping. I will do with my el cheapo m495, lunging will compensate for the actuations, another technique is click right at the actuation before kicking, thats what I do. vertigo my new pure trials frame just arrived ;D, it may take me a while to build it because i dont have any BB yet. I need something like 127mm wide otherwise the 22T will grind the chainstays.

127mm? hmmmm.....i think Truvativ SL's has those long BB's, then slap a Rigid Fork and you're Good To Go ;D
Teach me some moves while you're at it too ;D Surging to rear, 180 pivots, gap block hops.....
