Is nevegal in italy? gnarliest track made to date.
where is irc kujo then?
you still not answered why it is called stinky?
Yeti is the abominable snowman, seen in the colorado rockies
sasquatch to the canadians or "big foot"
In the phillipines it's called "BAROK" local moutain guy cave dweller
marketing major? do you think it would sell if a Downhill frame is called "BAROK"
or Barok bikes handcrafted in the philippines?
Who would win?
a mongoose vs. a diamondbacK

i just wanna add this koya badi
Without Floating Brakes...
Brake force is transmitted into the rear suspension, resulting in....
*Suspension feels unresponsive while braking
*Up to 50% loss of rear suspension travel
*Brakes lock up and chatter over bumps
*Rear end hops and bounces over bumps
With Brake Therapy Floating Brakes...
Brake force is removed from the rear suspension, resulting in....
*Suspension is free to respond to all bumps
*Full suspension travel is used, even while braking
*Rear brake offers much more stopping power
*Rear tire follows terrain, increasing traction and control
Previous Bicycle projects include:
Design of Floating Brake For Trek , for use on '05 Session 77 Bikes
Design of Floating Brakes for Kona DH team, culminating in 2004 World DH Championship with Fabien Barel.
Design of OE Floating Brake for Trek used on production Diesel DH Bikes 2nd place in 2004 World DH Championship With Mio Suimesa

patrickcoilerblueYES OF COURSE!! that is bans mendoza on a bentspoke jersey.. yes he cleared it.. and landed 6 ft beyond the reciever's lip.. in racing its not how high you fly.. its the velocity and smoothness.. bans is just pulling up... he landed it nose down a bit .... that is the palawan track.. venue of asean mtb championships... its only the practice run... the japs won...

@rocketman marketing major? do you think it would sell if a Downhill frame is called "BAROK"
maybe, Scott octane front triangle.... XRM rear linkage ...heheheeh
@coiler hehehehe..... thats a myth brad.. heheh it only becomes effective beyond 50 kph... just practice brake modulation( less use of brakes, small pinches only never squeeze... just like fondling boobs... hehehe)... use less of the brakes the less the possibility of brake jacks.
** we never had Floating disc systems in our time, we had to learn DH the hard way. During the time when the 7" monolinks ruled the world cup and asian cup titles , given the availability of FDS today ... it just gave everyone a 15% advantage in braking and its called "Comfort-technology"... and yes braking is only 15% of DH riding... hehehehe

extendeadhehehe... nice move by bans... pure finesse... heheh... he doenst need to go big-air on that, he just gave it the correct entry speed- then push flat on the pedal while pumping the fork just a bit to give him a continous line of sight on his landing target..... Going big doesnt mean ..your all out super aggresive and your huckin this n pumpin that and gapping this... remember DH/FR is a science . it will teach you the laws of physics wether you like it or not........ so you better learn it the right way... or your gonna end up hurt. Let your bike do half the work and everything else is your part of the job. see that lift on the end? it will carry you across, you dont have to do so much during take-off, the more you move on approach and wiggle around will just distort your focus and take-off. the lift will toss the bike to the right distance given the correct entry speed. spotting the landing is another story...... in mid air one can adjust the front and rear tilt just dnt move too much( we use the weight of the upper torso and the head+helmet to shift it) cuz once u tilt sideways i'd bet the landing aint gna be pretty..... oks try this with 3ft -5ft-7ft-10ft...and so on by the time you know it ur hitting 35 footers na din! ROME WASNT BUILT IN A DAY, BUT IT TOOK JUST ONE TO BURN IT ALL DOWN. (Trans: Di yan agad agad nakukuha, unti unti mo ensayuhin, pag tumira ka ng malaki agad e bka mag retire ka ng maaga?).... is that clear? or hehe.......

Say hi to Flex Jamboy for me, Jongjongjong !
Question for Buddyboy:
what do you think of the 661 Race knee-shin armor? MBAction rated it 5 stars but those guys arent really into Dh unlike Decline etc... The mesh gap between the hardshells (knee cup and the shin shell) is more than 2 inches => meaning that there s more exposed portion during crashes
I ve had my Eliminator bike fly with me during a crash...and my leg got caught between the drop tube and the 888 fork...my old TLD knee shin worked well in protecting my joints but Im having second thoughts that it may have also contributed to the "stuck leg' problem (hirap gumalaw laterally with those rivetted knee shin joints)
Another case is the Bataan Super D ... pedal comfort was a major advantage then.
So bottomline issue: comfort vs protection ? what s your take brad Buddy?

i tried the 661 race too.. hehehe... now i just use em as fork protectors...hehehe... i know the shin is a brittle part of the lower leg, iv had my share... imagine 2x2 wooden post breaking ... hehehehe.... a trick to cover the exposed joint area for the 661 race is to cover it with a 661 veggie-wrap( its gonna get tight n hot just like a ...... hehehe nvm..) now thats protection. If ur using flats id advise that u change into something like roach or rockgarden( the new designs on the pads make em look mean, just bout enuf to scare the rocks on the ground and your pedal studs ;D ...hehehe).. it covers the whole leg .... hehehe ..... go knee/shin for protection If ur into comfort, the Tomcat knee or DJ knee would be good but thus exposing the shin, but its light, its cool(temperature wise) but it dsnt cover the shin, this would be good with clipless pedals ... cuz the chances of the pedals meeting with your shin is thin , that is if you crash n break ur leg in 4 places it just might... naaaah! but i'll bet it wont dnt worry..... ;D ......... i prefer comfort, nowadays when your joints or muscles heat up and get cramped up with gear it kinda gets tiring, kinda hard to pedal, sprint and stuff. so i prefer the more comfy knee guards..... but i use platform pedals heheheeh........ ive mastered the art of ejection hehehe.... iv got a slim chance of havin one of those pedal meets shin issues ;D.... hehehee....( i get hit elsewhere in my body thats why! lol) ...... .............. sigh ... (trans: Mas masarap matulog sa gabi pagulog-gulong sa kama, kesa sa may iniinda!) ahihihihi.......extreme waste of pillow cases, bed sheets and comforters..hayz... cuz by the time you wake up with extreme body pains that wound is prolly mended to the farbic already and that is a btch to clean up...... lol ;D .........For Example: Skarhed-ef hehehe... his head stitches stuck to his bullcap hahahaha......lol

Oh and same rules apply to DH and Construction hehehehehe ........ Loose clothing not allowed beyond this point. hihihi.... remember your bike is a complex machine of moving parts... gloves get caught in running spokes! yumyum human fingers!....straps get eaten by chainrings! remember dont get your calves ripped open by them greasy chainring teeth!......oversized Jerseys getting eaten by rear tires! then grinding n burning your nuts on tires spinning at 70rpm, imagine massive knobby tires! ....... shoelaces which get eaten by chainrings n cogs, imagine ur foot suddenly pulled and forced into the tubes and 90 degrees twisted the other way around.... hehehehe ;D sometimes its the body armor that gets us... hehehehe the wheel is round anything can happen same as the world.... I can just say that DH is not a childs game, we should all remind ourselves that everytime we get out there and rip something up, nor should we forget to remind the new riders too. It fun watching, but its a whole different ball game when your in the saddle.... always check your gear ;D, strap in properly ;D, equip youreslf with right tools for the specific job ;D(hockey, football or any other sport specific pads are not DH specified!) ;D... i still see ppl doin this.... lol..... , no helmet no ride, then have tons of fun! ;D

donfacundo, ...... "Mass-starvation" can affect ones performance relatively, yes fatigue will set in faster on you lower body and your right/left hand(hehehe malay ko kung sabay? hagod batuta? hehe). Balot is pure protein... it will replenish your energy levels, but your knees n hands will need to rest b4 u ride... remember do not wash until rested for 30 mins, do not use cold water.... hehehe long term damage(rayuma).... hehehe then always wipe clean after so that the head wont stick to ur underpants........... hehehe ** we had a frnd he had a spasm siezure and we took him to the ER cuz he mary palmer 2x then wash with cold shower... then we heard kablag in the CR hehehe ..... good thing we were there....hehehehe....
