Dear koya Buddy, I wrote this post because i dont understand why this cornering teknik won the world championship: master buddy please explain is sitting on the rear puts weight on your rear wheel so that it will not wash. from the video sam was fast entering this left hand corner, he lean back so that he will not wash and overshoot. or sam is simply plain genius? weight shift ba when cornering? or depends on kind corner

line A shows that the ass of sam is aligned with the rear hub.. making the weight of the bike n rider concentrated at the contact point on the ground and the bike. which creates lots of centripetal force on the ground which produces lots of force.. in physics the action is always equals to the reaction.. there fore the equilibrium produces the thing called traction..!! even if the course is wet.. the traction compensates the skid factor. line b is the trajectory of sam ( in a curve motion to create lots of centripetal force line c is his weight shifting techniques a therfore conclude that speed = distance divide by time

I thought...CHURROS ! heheh My Buddy questions are : 1. what can you recommend for "really executive" riders [ie DH 1x a month] in terms of : Bike to buy and Trails to Hit ? 2. Do you think there should be an "Executive DH Pro" cat and a standard "Executive Non-Pro" cat ? or do you like dogs?

if you watch video both Barel and atherton dab their left foot in this corner
each rider has it's own style, but on that day sam hill's kung fu was the best
snake in the eagle shadow, drunken fist.
;Dwhat the hell! where are you? sleeping?
buddy answer na

@ GTU yes josh bender is still alive.... he is in recovery.. since his last big stunt... the 70 footer "BENDER SENDER" during Redbull rampage 4 .. he is still recovering.... ;D

@rocketman - short socks are faster... less cotton covering on legs means faster cooling of leg muscles for more efficient pedalling , cuz if ur legs burn up and cant cool down fatigue sets in faster....
i'd bet u didnt know that...... ;D
** talking of socks: jimi d-tor has nasty habit of using socks for tissue paper.. he goes up with 2 pcs socks and he vanishes for 20 mins then he goes down 1 sock less... heheheh ;D

regarding the sam hill cornering technique.........
from the position of everything its all good... cuz based on his speed and his entry angle "the law of physics" can answer it.....
he shifts his weight to give traction to the rear tire, once his rear tire hits the high area of the outside corner... he shifts center then thus giving both tires traction then he pedals out of the corner.... cuz once you apply power from your glide.. your bike will automatically stand 90degrees..... heheheh simillar sa moto n atv. ;D

@alphabot ... hmmmmm executive category pro n non-pro.. hehehehe... norba n imba has executive A & Executive B , hehehe.... that might make prize money harder for race organizers hahaha additional category.. ;D and for the Exec Dh bike.... any DH set-up will do for us as long as it dsnt weigh like 70 lbs ;D... thats gna be like hell-earth-hell pushing that rig up to the starting line. Plus i'll bet on tech courses we'd be drained trying to arm-pump that behemoth half-way down..... if u can lighten the bike to sub-55lbs why not hehehehe...... plus what i noticed with the pinoy mtbikers are "they think that if they're heavy they also need a burly, cumbersome dh rig." ;D ....there are things called "stiffer coil springs" for rear shocks ;D and dont worry bout the price, most exec riders can afford an excess of 200k/annum... ;D its a small price for enjoying what u love most.... riding ur bike down the wife issue... dont worry, they only spite once when they ask questions why your bike looks different and you cant seem to give a straight answer without trying to change the topic? ;D Trails: since most of us execs are office moles mon- fri we only get to ride sat n sun, right? but its family day... DUH Tagaytay is the most conducive for FR/DH its cool, you have b10,ridge2,ridge3,holy trail, puppy's trail, lester's trail, villa dionisia, radar ni ricky. .... if its family day combo.... leave them somewhere in tagaytay where theres planty of family spots, bring driver, van, bike and head of to the trail then w8 for driver at the laurel, batangas municipal hall then ur back up. (always ride with someone).... thats 17kms=8-10mins down then an hour going back up via sungay or lemery Grotto, Montalban for the execs looking for a good 1 hour climb and 4 minute descent this is the spot, the rock gardens and rut lines here have evolved since the last days it was used as proving grounds during the early days of pinoy DH. one can push to the nipa hut starting or the mama mary shrine... it is also home to the famous Boyet Camba "Camelback gap" which was erroded recently .....but hey grotto means bigger drops and sharper rocks... ;D

Dear koya Buddy,
I wanted na to wear skin suits next race where can i buy them?
one problem..... eh you know felix bakat tambok. djahi kasi dami audience hehehhee
if i wear baggy shorts over it, is the speed reduced?
Since koya ernie baron died i have never ask him my question,
my 5 year old frame is full of scratches and dings, and is for repaint na,
what is the fastest color?
if i leave it raw aluminum, do i need to clear coat it
or leave it bare?
what if it rains hard do I use raincoat or umbrella? and aluminum rust sets in?
and just use glo every week to keep it shiny. commercial no to!
koya buddy last question,
I am right handed but
when i ............., i use my left hand, hehhehehe
why do "they" put their front brake on the right and the rear on the left hand brake lever,
since I do not moto, i leave my bike the way it is, any advantagious to this set up?
last na Please.
Is downhill healthy for our spermatoa?
cauze worried for the future.. .someone should inherit my expensive dh bike. hehehehe
wish ko lang my questions will be answered..
