Hi brad's and Sis',
Because of the mishaps that occurred in the recent MTB Competition, some fellow PinoyMTBiker members concurred that a clinic should be held to educate us with the basics of hops, drops, and jumps.
The known details are as follows:
Place: Maarat DH Track
Time: 0730 to 1100
Instructors: Coach Eboy and Joey Barba
In behalf of Arnel a.k.a. Alphabolt, we would like to make a poll and at the same time a list of those who are interested in the said clinic.
Please indicate the following :
Name or handle / Day of Clinic (Saturday or Sunday) / Are you willing to pay Php 200 per head for the clinic?

Hiya guys, This is our step towards calculated bike techniques. It s not an insurance versus spills but it always helps to know more and practice moves under the guidance of caring pros All funds will go to the DH Team teachers. Im talking to coach Eboy on coming up with a program that s flexible...meaning those who know how to do one or more of the techniques can be assisted in refining their styles by one of the teachers. Of course, since this is an initiative action only...we cannot provide medical support groups etc...so we ll keep the beginners' program simple and "doable" Thanks Joma aka Shuzz for the remote control support . I was out of town over the weekend when we conceptualized this need  |

Hi Polpan, Re doctor to keep costs to a minimum, we ll keep the beginners' program simple and doable..plus Im trying to solicit the help of any medical personnel who also happen to be bikers. Right , bikedaddy and qt_kat ? All contributions will be on collaborative and "best effort" terms only. bayanihan tayo No one will be forced to do more than what they have done in the past. We re just trying to remove the "tsamba" factor and "nail" the moves ---Hop/Drop/Jump--- I for one have to work on my confidence level in aceing the drops and jumps which I have cleared several times before but havent been comforable doing. Hope we can finalize our preferences for this poll soon , folks |

Hi Team Censored, WHEN : we put up the poll so we ll know which day s most convenient for the majority WHERE : at the San Mig Track..spoke to Boyet Camba and its ok with their group but its "ride at your own risk" ...our premise is that this mini clinic is a preparatory event that will benefit all bikers and the forthcoming events as well [ummmm...decrease in the incidents of accidents hopefully] Just need 10 pax and we ll push through with it already Thanks supporting this initiative , folks ! |

Spoke to coach Eboy Farr today and we will come up with a trial run for this clinic...soft launch ikanga
We re finalizing having the 1st mini clinic on Saturday...
This Saturday March 11, 2006
time : 8am to 1130am
San Mig Track at Maarat
On hand on Sat to conduct the clinic are : Coach Eboy Farr & Joey Barba assisted by Unio Tuazon
Medical First Aid Kit and Red Cross-certified pax will be on hand to help out
NOTE : Bring Safety Gear...OR you will be required to use the extra single armor set we ll bring for those who forgot ;D
Let's Ride...and Hop and Jump and Drop, folks!

I dont have a full-face helmet. in case i join, can i use or will you allow me to use my xc helmet? I'd like to also know if this a beginner clinic-- (i dont really know what to do or how to do it) or somewhat advance --( i know how to do it, i just want to become better at it)?
