this was taken around feb this year see all the nice green colors? It is very frustrating to see what happened after a few months.this was taken last week. this trail gives way to relocate squatters on this area.

ironic isn't it? the working class is paying taxes and most of us can't even afford our own house. squatters on the other hand get free housing!!!!!

yes and at the expense of those paying taxes who gets ...................... very little or no benefit. plus a receding trail area for us mtbikers.

it's almost exactly like a scene from "An Incovenient Truth", except that instead of ice/rivers, the trees seemed to have disappeared.

sad...reminds me of that song kapaligiran by asin...i guess "sa ulap na lang tayo magkantahan".
our house in bulacan used to be surrounded by tall trees...rice paddies nearby...neighbors were kilometers away...streams were clear and teeming with life..used to hunt with my tirador just about anything that moves...now my kids dont even know the difference between a real goat and a person who just doesnt take a bath.

those before and after shots, now that's scary... even the guy seems to have lost part of his shirt! signs of the times, eh? it seems that the only greening we'll ever get to see is in the filipino mind... btw, where was the picture taken?

this is in munti , near bilibid prison a part of our trail where we once had a cross country race .I remember this had a short good winding downhill portion where we enjoyed racing to finish the course. now just good memories.
