The Philippine Business for the Environment (PBE) would like to invite you to the SM Supermalls Waste Markets at SM Fairview, Fairview, Quezon City on February 24, 2007, 8:00 am - 2:00 pm, as follows:
WASTE TRADING MARKET
on February 24
(and every last Saturday of the month thereafter)
*Parking Lot E, Regalado side, Fairview, Quezon City*
Trade old office paper for new! Or trade used ink cartridges for remanufactured ones! You can also bring junk electronic equipment and appliances, used car batteries, scrap paper, glass, aluminum and tin cans and PET and other plastics and redeem these for cash. (Used oil can also be registered for pick – up). Or you can rid yourself of styrofoam and used cellphones/ cellphone batteries by donating them to the recyclers.
The SM Supermalls Waste Trading Market is organized by the SM Supermalls, the City Government of Quezon City, the Philippine Business for the Environment, and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources -- to make recycling accessible and convenient for the general public. Recyclers themselves will also be on hand to explain their recycling processes to interested parties.
Other SM Supermalls Waste Market venue and date:
• March 17 – SM Southmall, Las Piñas City
• March 24 – SM Fairview
• April 14 - SM Megamall
