I try to do it at least once a week, hoping to do it more frequent.
7 kms from home to work, with some bit of uphill at Julia Vargas towards Ortigas Center. 14 kms total for the easier return trip.
We have instituted 1-day-work-from-home per week for each of the office staff. A little effort to save gas.

i don't bike to work because my work is at home but i use my bike to buy my ingredients. one tray eggs in my left hand, 10kilos of sugar and/or flour in my messenger bag or bike rack. thats one hell of a workout, weight training! and it saves me time and gas because i wont get stuck in traffic here in bicutan. me and my friends usually do a quiapo cartimar bikeshop hopping loop when we are not out on the trails. paguwi mo from the loop and dami mo na dalang bike parts. we should call it gastos loop instead. =)

About 7.61kms from our house at Congressional, then Munoz, over Balintawak, past Monumento then straight to Sangandaan! I try to bike all of my 6 days of work whenever the weather permits it.... hehehe...

Started biking to work early this month. Around 12 miles (19.2kms) one way on a paved trail. No shower facilities in the building. Just wash up a little and close the door to the office Plan to do this regularly all year round. The money I save on gas will go to your favorite charity under your name tinyurl.com/5a9538

I finally decided to bike commute to work due to the rising cost of fuel. I also want to padyak (trans: pedal) stronger in order to keep pace with trail buddy Arci - who is giving some advantage by using an SS rig I bike from Better Living, Paranaque to Eastwood, Libis QC. I think it is about 20K one way. I pass thru FTI and C5 to Libis. Biking time is about 1hr15min to 1hr30min. I try to leave the house before 8am so it will still be a bit cooler. Once, I left around 9am and the heat was terrible. I started last week and I hope to sustain this endeavour. Now I bike to work on weekdays and then take the car on weekends to bring me and my bike to the trailhead. What a life How I wish I was younger but then again, I am happy that I am still able to do this at 50+. Better late than never. Hope to see bike other bike commuters along the way. I have a red KHS HT bike and I usually have a yellow backpack and red helmet. Ride safe fellow commuters....

Count me in!
The rising gas prices have just justified another bike purchase for me. My existing bike is a road bike set up for racing - not a good commuter on my antipolo mandaluyong route, especially in the dark, and in bad weather.
Got myself a Giant Anthem 2 for commuting, leisure, training and racing. It will pay for itself from the 4k+ pesos / month i will save on gas.
