After digging 10 meters underground, archeologists in England came across traces of copper wire that were more than 100 years old. Archeologists concluded that the English had a telephone network in place over 100 years ago. Not to be outdone the Americans in a recent dig discovered traces of copper wire 150 years old on an excavation site. Scientists concluded that the Americans had a telephone network at least 150 years ago. Last week it was reported that Pedro Mapalad, self-taught archeologist and amateur historian, dug 30 metres into an old open lot in Cebu. Pedro found no traces of any copper wire, telephone network or any form of communications technology. Pedro was reported to have concluded that 500 years ago the Filipinos had already gone wireless.
