these boats will keep on sailing as long as there is wind. the key is learning how to read the wind and try to avoid wind holes. in my years of sailing, i have only experience one occassion where the wind died. visit our local club webpage at web.tri-isys.com/yst/rcsailing/index.htmled

how much would i shellout for an IOM? thanks! I have 2 IOMs. the imported one is built down under and i have put something like $1500 on it to get it sailing. the hull is kiwi, the rig is from uk(sailsetc) and the sails are carr sails from u.s. we have built a local one, initially called it paltik but have re named it as tabo. the hull will cost you around php4500 to php 5000. the rig can be built locally. so can the sails be. a good fm radio 2 channels is around php 5000. a good sized sail servo is around php 4000. you can email our club president arvin555@yahoo.com for more details. i have posted some pics at edmorales.multiply.com/photos/album/4/RC_SAILING_PICSand at edmorales.multiply.com/photos/album/2/YAMAHA_WHITBREAD_60ed
