anyone here doing wall climbing? no time for me to go out in the wilderness yet so indoor wall is my choice at the moment. where do you climb and when?
i started the thread so here goes:
i normally climb in Sandugo, 5th floor Market Market with my officemates. we're there lunch time on Tuesdays and Thursdays. in case you're there i'm the guy with shorts and a jersey, everybody else climbs in their jeans.
cool people in the shop too.

Last time I tried climbing, my other foot refused to leave the ground!
Good thing I did have to pay for it since I was just trying it out.
I think upper body strength and finger strength were missing.
What are the basic exercises prior to taking up climbing ba?

gadgets88 Sir, I thought youre already into climbing? saw your picture on the other thread w/ bike2006 working out in a gym, youre fit for climbing. just bear in mind, in Climbing be it rock/sport climbing,is to "PUSH UP and not pull up" use your legs to push upward, use only upper body (fingers/arms) for balance, if you rely only in upperbody youll get tired easily, not unless youre climbing an overhang or a roof. it will also help, to exercise youre fingers, Golfer's had alot of this for their power grip. important thing in every sport exercises is to warm up and cool down
