If you ever want to ask a rider to bake a cake, come to Sagada. Chef Aklay, once French, now Sagadan, will ride just about anywhere.. and was once the head pastry chef in the kitchen of the Sultan of Brunei. Let me tell you, he will throw together one serious cake!

Owen, Thanks for your favorable review. This was our first serious attempt at a birthday cake. Nothing better than a happy customer, makes you feel you're doing something right! BTW, I also had a lot of help. That's Paul doing the icing on Emman's cake. I normally bake simpler stuff, which I deliver to a call center and a few other places. If anybody is interested, I have some pictures of my products on my multiply site: vlm414.multiply.com/photos/album/12/second_attempt_at_a_bakeryDayuhan, that sounds interesting! I should look him up if ever I'm in that neck of the woods. God bless. Vic
