As I write this, it seems supertyphoon Paeng (Cimaron) is coming over the coast to the east, wind at 260kph, and headed right for us, forecast to pass almost exactly over Sagada at 8 AM tomorrow.
You'd never know it, it's raining steadily, little wind, but no real hint of a major storm. If you believe the forecast, though, we are about to get our asses kicked in no uncertain terms.
Not really worried, we're not at any risk from floods or landslides, and this is a tough old house. Still, it's an intreresting feeling knowing that nature is winding up to let you have it. Probably no internet/phone/electricity/roads for a while, once it hits...

I have one of those 7LED flashlight less than P100 I got from Divisoria, I used it as a night light for several days with the OEM elcheapo battery. Waterproof too, beats Maglight. Just saw it in CNN, its the strongest typhoon in 3 years. Goodluck to you guys there dayuhan.
