do you tip the saleslady/salesman where you bought bike part/s? do you tip the mechanic who serviced your bike? how costly is a part or a service for you to consider tipping? how much do you tip for a part? for a service rendered? just a thought...

I tip the mechanic only if I'm happy with his work. Usually P150 for full bike assembly or wheelbuilding.
If I feel that the mechanic just did the bare minimum, no tip.

cant relate.....coz i only give tip to a good service.....so far i didnt experience it yet. especially if the seller will say "sandali lang yan, mga 30mins tapos na"...... then it will take more than what i expected, like 60 to 120mins.....that's what i call a bad service and not setting a proper expectation.
