The crispy pata resto sa Candelaria, Quezon ( d best btw ), is Lutong Bahay ni Inay The owner's brother, had another crispy pata resto a block away
Naturally we called both restos, Cooking ng Ina Mo and Cooking ng ina mo Rin ( oo na, lumang joke na ) i love it when our foreign guests say it clearly Lumalabas : Cukn naang inamow And they probably go back to the US and tell their Fil-am friends where they ate

i've heard this called "aborted egg" another reason for me not to eat those...i'm prolife and definitely anti-abortion.. just wondering why "aborted egg"? ... the egg went out of the duck too early? ;D ;D ;D do they allow the ducks to go on maternity leave if they suffered an abortion? i believe they should..its so traumatic you know well, its me again with too much coffee i guess

tolits, go easy on the coffee... ;D
There are two types of kwek-kweks. One is your normal egg and the other is the Balut. Balut is the "aborted egg".
I was told that tokneneng is the neon quail egg.
Crispy Deep Fried Orange Battered Quail Egg with Vinegar and Onions aka "tokneneng" ;D
Maybe you can place this in the menu of a classy resto. heh heh heh
