i believe PDIC will only pay 250,000.00 (max) per depositor and not per account...that is if the bank went broke...so sometimes it pays if you use other names for other accounts...now if its your business that went broke and creditors are hunting you down...well if it's not in your real name then you'll have a protection against garnishment...yeah, you can use jose pidal :-)

Defeats the purpose bday girl ex.- You make a sizeable dposit in one account, then before your mother/GF/fiance/wife or all of the above could check, you use your cel fone to transfer funds from that account to another super secret account.
