Let me help you add a little more on your list Sir Enzo. 1. Modern English 2. Psychidelic Fur 3. Spandau Ballet 4. The Fixx ( I think I still have the LP of this) 5. INXS 6. The group that sang " Our House", sinu yun? Help please! 7. Devo (Remember "Whip it Good"?) 8. Modern Nation 9. Hall and Oats 10. Style Council I have most of their LP's, Imported from Sheffield UK. They call it Vinyl. Some are Remixes, some are collectors items. I even have the The safety Dance album shaped with two people dancing. And different colors like the bluish psychedelic color of the Midnight Oil album. Smiths with the head honcho Morrisey is one of the most haunting songwriter then. And one of my fav is the Simple Minds Live in the city of angels album. Ay! too many too mention and you all got me singing this tunes again. Youre the best Thing I could be discontent and chase the rainows end I might win much more but lose all that is mine I could be a lot but I know Im not Im content with just the riches that you bring I might shoot to win and commit the sin Of wanting more than I've already got I could run away but Id rather stay In the warmth of your smile lighting up my day (the one that makes me say, heh) Cause your the best thing the ever happened to me or my world You're the best thing that ever happened- so dont go away I might be a king and steal my people's things But i dont go for that power crazy way All that I could rule but I dont check for fools All I need is to be left to live my way (say listen what I say) I could chase around for nothing to be found But why look for something that is never there I may get it wrong sometimes but i'll comeback in style For I realize your love means more than anything (the song you make me sing-yeah) The Style Council Cyling, the best thing!

@ ice... Monica, Monica, every new wavers fantasy I wonder where she is now. If ever this EB would push through, there's a joint in C. Palanca St., Legaspi Village, Makati where the band plays only 80's music every Thursday (will check the name) OR we can just hang-out in Eastwood, Libis on a Friday night in front of MAGIC 89.9's booth during their Friday Madness program. Venue is bigger, no minimum/cover charge, no pressure on what to order and they play non-stop 80's party music from 9pm - 12mn. @ wade... BLACK FLAG, THE d@mnED, NEW YORK DOLLS, PUBLIC IMAGE LIMITED, CIRCLE JERKS, DEAD KENNEDYS, THE JAM, EXPLOITED, GREAT BRITAIN HOLOCAUST, LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH And the greatest 80's band for me, JOY DIVISION !!!

And the greatest 80's band for me, JOY DIVISION !!! joy division........... before new order..... love will tear us apart by joy division..... When the routine bites hard And ambitions are low And the resentment rides high But emotions wont grow And were changing our ways, Taking different roads Then love, love will tear us apart again Why is the bedroom so cold Turned away on your side? Is my timing that flawed, Our respect run so dry? Yet theres still this appeal That weve kept through our lives Love, love will tear us apart again Do you cry out in your sleep All my failings expose? Get a taste in my mouth As desperation takes hold Is it something so good Just cant function no more? When love, love will tear us apart again and off course my favorite 80's wave song........ from the sound track of the breakfast club starring judd neslon, molly ringwald, emilio estevez and ally sheedy......... performed by the simple minds......... Hey, hey, hey ,hey Ohhh... Won't you come see about me? I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby Tell me your troubles and doubts Giving me everything inside and out and Love's strange so real in the dark Think of the tender things that we were working on Slow change may pull us apart When the light gets into your heart, baby Don't You Forget About Me Don't Don't Don't Don't Don't You Forget About Me Will you stand above me? Look my way, never love me Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling Down, down, down Will you recognise me? Call my name or walk on by Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling Down, down, down, down Hey, hey, hey, hey Ohhhh..... Don't you try to pretend It's my feeling we'll win in the end I won't harm you or touch your defenses Vanity and security Don't you forget about me I'll be alone, dancing you know it baby Going to take you apart I'll put us back together at heart, baby Don't You Forget About Me Don't Don't Don't Don't Don't You Forget About Me As you walk on by Will you call my name? As you walk on by Will you call my name? When you walk away Or will you walk away? Will you walk on by? Come on - call my name Will you all my name? I say : La la la... curahee!

If this EB would materialize, I bet it will be an all-night 80's reminiscing session. Looks like mountain biking will be set aside for a while.

An 80's EB sounds cool! What I remember most during the 80's was the partying. I was barely in my teens then and my aunts would hold parties every weekend. We would dance to new wave hits of Depeche mode, The Cure...etc. I sure hope the EB pushes thru.

wow, 4 pages long and no mention of hiphop, breakdance, nwa, run dmc, etc. so who's my homeboy? i was part of a crew that goes to picc every sunday morning, someone would bring linoleum and a boom box and we would pick a spot. other crews are there, "breakers" in balloon pants, anytime in the morning this will happen: "showdown" i still know our handshake that ends in our sign but i guess new wave and punk are the more visible icons of the eighties. i still want to go to CBGB & OMFUG!

I admit..I’m also an 80's person. I remember the Metallic Gigolo contest on Eat Bulaga before migrating to US. Having a fake ID going into over 21 night clubs. Remembered Michael Jackson era with Prince, cruising with friend in Hollywood with 1969 grand Torena ;D . Also having afro to mallet hair cut. In Late 80's as soon have my first job. I bought Toyota mini pickup totally fixed up to the limit. Lowered with candy paint, limo tint, chrome wheels, double pipe and 600 watts power stereo (half of the bed were speakers). The fun part when passing at shopping mall with full blast stereo. All cars with alarm will turn on ;D, then at high schools lots of girls wave there hand ;D but I was a good boy . The funniest thing that I won’t forget and smiled every time I remember was when I stop to a red light with another car besides me with an old man a passenger. He slowly covers his ear for the loud music ;D..ok probably that’s not funny at all. The worse I experienced was always getting tickets from car was to low and loud music . I still have my album except some of the pics have been removed at keep it in a nice place ;D. So the kids would not see and hear a complaint from the wife .

Fave dance of my classmate, may she rest in peace na. (joined a cult jan sa US and followed the master's order to commit mass suicide) she should've joined PinoyMTBiker and still be alive today. Anybody know the song title of this contest...need to download it.
