aaarrgggh!!! if someone resurrects another ancient thread with lots of Tagalog posts that need to be edited, whoopi is going to douse them with expensive petroleum and set them on fire! my apologies. i was browsing the at past threads, and some of the topics were too inviting to post at. if it is wrong to post at old threads, do we newbies create a new thread with the same topic? if the situation is such, we would be in a bind since, we would be referred back to the old threads or topics. my apologies again miss moderator. the same newbie oversight would not happen again. curahee!

Love you all Ice, Tata Arci, Alphabolt, Allegra. Whoopi, Gadget88, LaMok, Essworks, Lopsiphile for filling us in and making our historicity complete.
Hay naku. Ang sarap Mabuhay.
And to realize...this geometry called mtb ... is making us newbies again. As if..we've only just begun... "Carpenters?"
Challenging Trails are lying ahead waiting to be conquered. When will the kid in Us stop licking lollipops?
Am I a Loonie? For being a PMTBiker?
Are you?
Are we?
HELP!
All I know is I have this Passion for striding my MTB. I am comfy. My MTB misses my patong. Together...we make a symphony. And we are just a dot in the landscape.
I feel special. I feel Proud. I am unique...atop my MTB.
And as to why you question why I am grinning...am to happy and fulfilled to even look back.
Talk to you later. I am too busy and in ecstacy mtbiking.
What time warp is this?
60's 70's Eighties. 90's 2000?

-anybody here bought crayon shoes? ;D -some of your classmates ventured into the mobile (not the cell phone) business with matching mirror balls. we used flashlights as "strobe lights" hahahaha -michael jackson's thriller was the most imitated dance in high school presentation and raymond lauchegco's "farewell" was an all time graduation song. ;D ;D -your pants were so tight coz you were wearing stretch jeans and when you took them off your legs had the pants' color -penny loafers, daffodils, famous sperry topsiders could only be found in greenhills..including Hanes Tshirts and undies. Hahahaha -when your yosi was blue seal "man, stateside yan" -and in the 80s MTb was not that popular but BMX -Memories...dont you just love Magic89.9 when its Friday madness.

And to realize...this geometry called mtb ... is making us newbies again. As if..we've only just begun... "Carpenters?" --------------------------------<< snipped >>------------------------------- I like to dedicate this song to everybody in PinoyMTBiker. Special mention to Fafa Rocky, Tito Arci and Eric Essworks and DA MAN Enzo, for being our idol, for always being there, for showing the way, so that all of us can learn a thing or two about discipline, strength, humility and being human. To the admin, moderators, ex-moderators, classic members, Halimaws, Pimps, Hot PinoyMTBiker Babes I've met and haven't met, and all veterans/oldies-many of which are young bloods, who are always keeping the newbies company. And to those who are quietly working in the background, away from the limelight, the wonderful bikeshop owners that are just a little shy that we think have an attitude (don't we all?), the hardworking,good-looking mechanics that we haven't thanked enough, and so many others, newbies or otherwise, you might think you're not included, you are. THANK YOU for making this PinoyMTBiker community-OUR community- (and hopefully this world) a better place. Please sing to the tune of Carpenters' We've only just Begun. Here goes my shot at being a composer-writer... Ladies and Gentlemen, this song is for you. We've only just begun to live, Pink jerseys cycling shorts A kiss to the bike and we're on our way. And yes, We've just begun.
Before the rising sun we ride, So many roads to choose We start our cadence and learn to spin. And yes, We've just begun.
Uploading the photos that are new to us, Loggin' the forums day to day. Tackling the uphills, wandering all over again, Laughing and swearing, along the way. The pain, ooohhhh, the pain!!!
And when a newbie comes, we smile, not knowing the trails ahead will drive us crazy and take all day, And yes, We've just begun. ;D

May I suggest an 80's themed EB for all the "so-called 80's PMTBikers". And all the while I thought PinoyMTBiker is Gen-X dominated. My small contribution to the list: Katrina's, Red Rocks (predecessor of Club Dredd), A2Z Records, Herald X, Twisted Red Cross Brave New World concert series at Trinity College The late, great Teddy Diaz of The Dawn, The Jerks, Urban Bandits, IOV, GI and the Imbeciles, Identity Crisis, Ardourn Delirium, the original Advent Call fronted by Karl Roy, Betrayed, Blue Zoo, Mere Mercy, Zoot Suit, etc, etc. Memories, memories. NO FUTURE SA PADER, OI ! OI ! OI !

May I suggest an 80's themed EB for all the "so-called 80's PMTBikers". And all the while I thought PinoyMTBiker is Gen-X dominated. My small contribution to the list: Memories, memories. NO FUTURE SA PADER, OI ! OI ! OI ! great idea and suggestion storm dc! and the best place for that would be an 80's inpired venue/ watering hole..... too bad the ff are non-existent already: zigzag, rumors, pulse, euphoria, kudos, faces, mars, metro, stargazer, isis, lost horizon, subway (ermita), spirits, gold mine, another world, reasons, peps, bobby magee's, silhouette towers, rhythm and booze, jazz rhythm, gallery, dreams, penguin, terse mundi (third world), nikolai, aunt mary's aunt, tia maria, de ja vu, news bar, naked ear, pizza villa, bachelor's club, corner pocket, music hall, decades, 10 years after ..... hayyyyy.... those were the days! curahee!
