Seems like a number of people have been having difficulty in accessing the site lately. Not surprising as the number of posts have gone up, and the site content has increased significantly. In my experience, this has a significant effect on your browser's efficiency or ability to browse or access the forum's contents. So, I'm going to try to list a number of tips to minimize this problem, and other web-savvy members might be able to help as well. I'm an IE user, so what i list here may apply only to IE browsers...Here goes... 1) Periodically, flush your browser's cache (pull down Tools on your browser menu...then Internet Options...then in the Temporary Internet Files section, click Delete Files)...you might want to flush your cookies cache as well by clicking Delete Cookies 2) Use "Disk Clean Up" to remove unnecessary files from your HD (open your start menu...programs....system tools....then disk clean up) 3) On my DSL connection, i notice that if i log in, then immediately try to access a board or a thread...i can't. I have to wait for my internet connection monitor to stop flashing BEFORE i try to open a board or my PM box. Especially with my XP unit...this may be the cookie processing your connection...i'm guessing but waiting a while always lets me in successfully. good luck! p.s. any other tips guys?

Finally I could log-in but on a different pc. Have to resovle the problem with my pc. Anyway, I think it's my browser internet explorer.
I'll have to upgrade my system later.
Thanks gulli for the tips.
