Most of good and popular figthers of PrideFC from Japan are lossers at Pride 33. I think they got distracted with beautiful woman in Las Vegas ;D ;D.

It's Shogun's chance to fight for the 205lb belt since he couldn't challenge Wandy because of their Chute Boxe pact not to fight each other. Wandy is getting old, time to pass the torch. He's been champ for 5 years. Shogun's better on all aspects. A lot younger and smoother too. Wandy relies more on aggression and brute strength rather than skill. Unfortunately, strength and aggression withers with age. I agree with Allegra, Chuteboxe forever!!!
The real shocker was Li'l Nog's loss. He's the South American boxing champ and he got floored by a wrestler. That derails his #1 contender status. He needs another fight or two to challenge the 205lb champ again. Hopefully it's Shogun when that time comes. That's a good rematch. Hendo and Li'l Nog won't be a good rematch. It would be a technical submission match which will be boring for the uninitiated. Besides, Hendo has already been armbarred by both Nog brothers.
The results of the event has shaken Pride a bit further lowering the marketability of their stars compared to UFC. Hopefully more Pride guys cross over to UFC to show the world who the best fighters are. Anderson Silva already has a belt. Crocop and Rampage are poised to challenge for the titles in their respective weights.
Another armchair mmartist here. hehehe. ;D

I prefer Pride Japan than US
I like the knees and kicks to head when the opponent is down so direcho action
In fairness , Overeem had a great opportunity to soccer kick rua sa muka , but didnt until I remebered it's not allowed
JR watch it live when it goes to California , then post pics hehe

It's a good thing they didn't do it by mistake since theyre so used to it.
That was one thing Crocop had to remove from his arsenal moving to UFC.
