magaling talga si marquez. he ain't the champ for nothing. props to his skills. swerte rin sya at namaga left hand ni pacman kakasuntok sa kanya nung rounds 1 and 2. dahil kung dehins, maaga dapat natapos ang boksing. bow ako ke pacman for fighting his heart out despite the pains he's suffering. he's shown us what a true champion is. The way I see it, aside from those 3 knockdowns in the first round, most of the rounds went to Marquez. Dont get me wrong mga kabayan, I would've cried had Manny lost, but I was kind of relieved when they called it a draw And tama si Staind, pasalamat si Marquez, na injure pala kamay ni Manny ng 1st round!! Pati paa yata puro blisters daw kaya bumagal ang footspeed |

The way I see it, aside from those 3 knockdowns in the first round, most of the rounds went to Marquez. 1. according to rod nazario & freddie roach, they'll never negotiate with bob arum anymore.
2. siguro kaya "3 knockdown rules not in effect", alam kasi nila na knockout artist itong si pacquiao.

 oh well, the truth hurts lang siguro. manny's jabs just aren't as effective as marquez's...marquez win was in all likelihood based on his counterpunches...rapid and effective... darn, i miss Ali all of a sudden...

as i've mentioned above, it was a very close fight and both fighters showed their mettle. galing!!! forgot to say that it could've gone either way. it was that close! and yes, the judges did ruin the ending! scoring the bout 115-110 one way and 110-115 the other way was really ridiculous! no matter, it was a great fight! idol ko ngayon si pacman! dami nyang sakit sa katawan pero tuloy pa rin! di sya umayaw! hmmm... parang feeling ko... paakyat ako ng the wall nyan a.  ;D |

I think he admitted he made a terrible blunder - scoring the 1st round 10-7 when he should've scored it 10-6 based on the rules. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk. But I salute Marquez for coming back from the grave. No debate - the fight will go down in boxing history as one of the greatest matches, ka linya ng "Thrilla in Manila" And I think the Filipino people have been robbed - not by those who are in Las Vegas - but by the TV network who got the right to broadcast it SUPER DELAYED. Anak ng tokwa 2 hours ko nang alam yung outcome ng match dehins pa nagsisimula sa Solar at sa RPN. Ano ba yan. Excuse nila they don't have the right to broadcast it live kaya slightly(?) delayed. Pooocha they made a killing with all those TV commercials, dapat man lang nagbayad na sila ng kahit na mahal ng kaunti para naman napanood sana natin ng live...as in live, yung kasabay natin nagchi-cheer yung mga mexicano. |

Marquez was no patsy,if not for the 1st round greatness of pacman,the mexican would have won it unanimously,and ang scoring ata ay round per round eh,
Pero,My opinion pag di injured ang left hand ni pacman,kahit may paltos sya,manny could have knockdown marquez more times and manny could have won by tko,so sana sa rematch la sya injury para malaman natin kung sino talaga nag mas magalig

what kind I say the fight was good but I give pacman a little edge. But you know the promoter (Bob Arum) is just like Don king, he wants to make more money for the rematch.

I really love his fighting skills...both arms can trow good punches, he can also punch an oponent when his already falling down......either for being a counter puncher...he can throw a hell lot of punches, for Manny at the moment he is just throwing some of a few combos... All I wish is for these two well known boxers is to face each other again and slug out to see who's the real who... |
