I was thinking of upgrading my MTB frame, but then again, I kind'a thought it was unnecessary as it serves me well. I am however toying with the idea of getting a dirt bike. Nothing serious, just something to play with during sundays or whenever I'm unable to ride the trails ;D What's a good beginner's bike? I saw some pre owned bikes like the KMX 125 for just 50-60k! Is this a good brand? Any other suggestions? How much more do I have to spend for aesthetic upgrades to make it look bad ass instead of looking like a messenger What are the specific upgrades?

First asses if you want a 2stroke or a 4 stroke engine.
2 stroke Pros; lighter set up, easier and cost less to re build, great power spike on high rpm's etc etc..
Cons; needs 2T, mausok trans; foggy ;D, almost no torque on low rpm's, consumes more fuel.
4 stroke Pros; Fuel mileage, no 2T to worry about, dependable linear power distribution ( has torque even on low rpms) etc
Cons; unit costs more, heavier set up etc..
btw, KMX is 2 stroke
