I've read an article about these engine treatments and some were found to have ingredients that cause corosion in the long run. You'd be better off doing a regular oil change, using synthetic or semi synthetic oil.

Regular maintenance, oil change, is better than using any suspectacular oil additive. Changing from regular to synthetic or semi-synthetic oil would be a smarter move since it promises longer oil change and is kinder to moving engine parts.
My brother got the khaos. It worked remarkably in his '89 Lancer. Bumilis, tumipid at tumining.
drive safely.

jon, mabigat ang engine oil kasi malapot. lalong bibigat pag dinagdagan mo ng thinner o gas. use a real chain lube.

They are commercial products with commercial promise, same as Motor Up and Mira Lube, commercialism! They help but not as there promise on the ads.
In their demo, if u have this addditives, your engine will run a certain KM distance even the engines oil-drained ( supposed to be accidentally happened kuno ) taking you to the nearest talyer. I am not saying that their claim is not true but to avoid engine damage, do not run your engine if it lost its oil, no-no.
Maintain your oil, check the pans, replace it regularly, that's the key.

I agree with everyone here. I've tried Dura-Lube and Slick50 before. I really thought my engine was stronger and tougher. Until I realized my parent's and siblings' cars were performing and lasting the same way without additives. Same mileage and no significant difference in driving habits. I'm starting to believe it was psychological din.
For those switching to synthetic oil, just a reminder... by it's very name "synthetic" you should be aware that these are lab-formulated chemical "oil" (in quotes) whose properties rely heavily on the company's formulation. While they're formulated to mimic and often exceed natural oil, the advantages between synthetic brands/formulations will therefore vary more significantly than with mineral-based oil which may be processed with varying expertise but essentially uses the same oil from nature. CHOOSE WELL... ask around... research. If uncertain, it might even be better to select semi-synthetic blends.
