Good pm PinoyMTBiker, i 've been planning to buy an external storage device this past few months, i would to here your inputs and suggestion on what ESD you could say is the best bang for your buck: Seagate is one of my choice, problem is, i like my ESD to have usb cable connection only no power cords, Seagate has one of those too, but price differs alot, 250gig ESD with power cord cost about P6.5k, for the ESD with no power cord 80gig cost almost the same as the 250gig ESD with power cord. So hope you could share your personal choice of external storage device OT: here's the link for the seagate external storage device that i like, maybe you can have comments or maybe you'd like to compare the to other Brand (model) that you preffer www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/external/freeagent_desktop_data_movers/TIA

Seagate freeagent Go is for you. max size is 160GB. no power adaptors needed. best with seagate is the guranteed 5year warranty. cheap if you can buy it outside the country. i got mine in HK for HK$790 (about PHP 4.2K) 120GB. here it's between 5 to 6k.

the maxtor one touch mini is also good and also cheap. has five years warranty also. just stay away from those external enclosures.
and btw, warranty means if anything goes wrong with your storage device within the five year period, the manufacturer will repair or replace it free of charge. of course within acceptable terms stated on the warranty. ever heard of people buying defective hard drives for 800 pesoses?
