7k feet! whoa! i can only dream of climbing that high! and on an ss at that! nice epic sir. hat's off to your better half also. you yourself custombuilt that ss frame? astig! ;D

yeah... we can't wait.... we're trying to figure out whether it would make sense to bring a roadie or our SS's home. i wonder if EMR would rent out roadies? hmmmmm.... Yes, that is my custom made SS (although it has a derailleur hanger) that I built in framebuilding class at UBI (www.bikeschool.com). It's my favorite bike.. Check it out!

you've taken the UBI framebuilding class! sweet! that's on my to do list... someday. well worth the money dude... it's cheaper than getting a custom IF frame. you get to design your frame the way you want it, pick the tubes, miter them and braze them together (they also have a TIG class for Ti or steel). the only thing that you'll have to finish yourself is the paint. a bonus is that ashland, oregon has some first class riding (about 1/4 mile away from the school).
