Masters of SS, Need your help, ive been looking for chain tensioner, Da Bomb in particular (installed at the drop out with a one roller), been through Cartimar (all Bike Shop), Quiapo (Jane (out of stock na), Cycle Art, Decimal, lahat na ata) but still no luck. Feedback naman mga sir, im from cavite kaya sana masuliit ung pagpunta. Im having sleepless night because of this, hehehe, help would truly be appreciated. Currently my remedy for this tensioner is this: I havent used it on trail though, but i doubt this since there's no chain pull. img519.imageshack.us/img519/949/image003uf6.jpg[/img]TIA.

I kinda like it, perfect tensioner for when my chain wears out a bit. That looks to be a pretty good tensioner if there's only a small bit of slack to pick up. Try a cog or chainring with 1 more tooth, maybe even a pulley. If you had a half-link, then the tensioner might work for you.

sir wcoastbo,
thanks for the info, will try bigger chainring instead of cogs, but will still try to look for da bomd tensioner with pulley on it.

if you ride with a derailleur, then a tensioner is usually unnecessary. the tensioner shown above will probably cause shifting problems or additional friction when used on a geared bike.

I'm not a master, but if you'll ask me, that setup looks good. Simple, but effective. [/img] TIA.
