Guys I made my own SS spacer and tensioner: Cost P52.50 for materials plus other materials I found at home. I made the spacer from an excess stainless steel tube I have hanging around and made the tensioner from scrap stainless sheet. The weight of the tensioner is around 50 grams, I don't know however if it is applicable other than trials but so far so good.

nice rig patrick. can i post some weight redution comments? ;D if you're using a square taper BB, go to cycle art and get one of those FSA titanium spindle BBs. at 150 grams, its d@mn light and cheap too for PXXX. replace the seatcollar with one of those cheap/generic 20 grams seatclamps. just P300 from cycle art as well. since you're not using the derailleur hanger, might as well replace it with a bolt with the appropriate size. other than saving weight, you get to preserve the hanger as well. these upgrades will not cost you over P1K but it'll save you 200 grams on weight, more or less. get a digital scale from fattire as well so no more second guessing. more power brad.

One problem about the BB is that I need a 128mm width. Thats why I got a UN-52 for P2000T+ I bought abroad. Kakahinayang.
My option for the cranks is to upgrade the entire set BB and crank with an ISIS and a Tensile crank (a threaded trials crank, not 4/5 bolts). ISIS vs square I'd rather stick with square though.
Ironic that this SS thing didn't actually save that much weight since I needed to use a heavy KMC chain for strength since I'm at a level where I would be snapping shimano HG chains or SRAM links easily.
Do you have some photo of the seat collar you were saying?
What do you mean replace it with a bolt? I am eager on saving the hanger but removing it will not set the bolt properly on the dropout.

guys I see it personally the tensioner Patrick did early this morning. All I can say is that: THATS ONE GOOD IDEA. THE S/S SHEETS USE THERE HAS MADE A GOOD SPRING ON IT. good work, great idea save u also a couple of bucks or more for that. its better than buying those tensioner out there in the market that are so expensive. if ever you can find a steel bike frame you can make your trial bike even tougher

sir patrick wat kind of plastic did u use for your tensioner?? , i recomend that you use an old chopping board or better yet engineering plastic...this materials are very durable against chain friction

I used a meat tenderizer instead. Later on I will line it with a Polyurethane layer maybe.
