Edong. thanks for the pics brad. You are right to call it a complete ride. Made not only my legs stronger but my arms too since we had to carry our bikes most of the time while actually climbing steep rocky cliffs before reaching Eastridge. I hope you will still join us in other exploration rides. If you had a hard time on this ride, it was kits idea to follow the drying river bed. So blame him. ;D ;D ;D

Nice pics Edong. Good to hear you didn't miss your appointment.
Your right, it was a complete ride... Semi-steep inclines, offroad downhills with ruts, drying river crossing, boulder climbing, ravine climbing and trecking with our bikes at our backs.... I'd say it was a complete ride.
My scratches are healing. We actually went back to the transmitter the next day. Gary, myself, my wife and some friends (11 all in all) went up the transmitter and crossed to Eastridge. Dont worry, I didn't make my wife pass through the exploration rider we did the day before. We just turned right from the transmitter going back and crossed a fire road going the Eastridge.
Gary - I think we all agreed to follow the river bed. So I didnt twist your arms to take that route... : ) : ) : ) I thing the person to blame is Ace, coz when we are riding with him, we alweys get into a hard treck... Just joking. Maybe we can go back there when the rain comes so the river is nicer to play with. ; )

Maybe we can go back there when the rain comes so the river is nicer to play with. ; ) You're f*****g crazy to go back there when it rains dude. We'll be needing kayaks and not bikes to get out from that ridge alive. ;D ;D ;D Maybe light rain lang but still it would be danagerous since parts of the water path have eroded and may continue to erode and engulf us together with those boulders. We're all gonna die!!! Sorry for being hysterical. It would be exciting though.

thanks for sharing the pics guys first time i rode with your guys @the nabutas part II ride, i knew that i was riding with dyed-in-the-wool mountain bikers when i saw you smoke that uphill zigzag portion going to the licao2 fireroad. i knew these guys eat "pain" for breakfast. it shows in your rides bros and how you seems to be enjoying every minute of it. keep it up bros. you serve as an inspiration to PinoyMTBiker, keeping the fire of mtbiking alive. Hope to ride with the group again sometime (just promise that you will tow me during the uphills.....hehehe)

Great pics and nice ride guys... why don't we name this trail as kits-gary trail in honor of you guys who explored first this trail with real mountain bikes. I can't forget kits asking me months ago if there are trails near our village, and behold there are trails. Hope to ride this trail with you guys...the very passionate mountain bikers and strong riders (as arci puts it, promise to tow me also at climbs...hehe)
Nice meeting you philip at yesterday's ed's stag ride.
