Wow! talk about bike luxury! I'll be going up Pangasinan with the wife and kid this weekend. If all ends well I might be bringing my bike with us too. I just wish that I get the same treatment from the bus personnel. I also wish the bike bag I ordered will be ready just in case it gets stowed in the bus compartment (wag naman sana lord!).

Reminds me of home hehehehe well it is home.. from the pictures without the Lion's head of course is the old famous kennon road. The real climbs starts before the lion's head which would be one of my targets once I get home hopefully month end of february. Sometimes it would be wise to bring along a bike bag so the bike doesn't get the beating of it's life in the luggage compartment. Thanks for sharing brad

Looks like you rode Victory Liner.
I went to baguio myself recently & brought my bike with me. When the conductor saw that I have a bike, he told be that I have to pay for the bike at the shipping counter. They charge the bike as baggage... the bad thing is, the charge is proportionate to the cost of the bike. When I declared my bike was PHP15,000. We know how expensive bike components, at this cost its way too under declared. The counter told me that at that price I'd pay more than PHP400. We eventually valued my bike at PHP2,000 which resulted to shipping charge of PHP50.

Yes sirs I had been a bad boy riding w/o helmet. As I had explained I lost my helmet, anyone willing to lend thier's till the end of the month when i get the cash to buy a new replacement? Funny as it seems but music did sooth my nerves calming me and IMO helped me become more ride rationally. Of course there is nothing rational about riding down baguio solo. hehehehei

brad Jake!
I think you should reconsider riding especially downhill until the end of the month or until you get a helmet.

nice ride!!!! but my comment is!!!!! where's your helmet!!!! and why the ear phones!!!!!! you couldn't hear thos big buses comming up behind you!!!!!! Ah well the thing is its actually safer if you legally take the lane. Riding too far right on the road is actaully too tempting for drivers and they will to try and push you futher to the edge/unsafe area. It is legal and actually safer when cars and busses overtake ou as they would overtake a regular vehicle. As for the earphone well its actually a radio lnk to the helicopeter escort hovering above. heheheee (joke)

brad Jake! I think you should reconsider riding especially downhill until the end of the month or until you get a helmet. I thought about it but I cant. Am ust plain addicted to it I guess. So either lend me a spare helmet or cut me some slack.

we respect your decision brad jakecastle, but as you are a member of PinoyMTBiker, we are just being concerned of your well being, we dont want to lose a member due to him/her not wearing a helmet, but anyway, its your head and i think you know whats best for it brad, ride safe
