here's my share of pictures from the ride. most of the pictures though came the day after NVP's bday ride. i wasnt able to take a lot of pics bcoz i was sick worried about my "alalays", hehe. we'll call this one the post-nvp bday ride. day one my alalays, hehehe. my alalays with my boy, hehehe. ;D celebration after the ride. unfortunately, pete doesnt drink beer and paul was sick so we only downed a single bottle of generoso. another excuse is: we had to wake up the following day so we satisfy our addiction, hehehe. that would be: pedalling (or slowly killing oneself on 2 wheels) hehehe. ;D day 2 we parked beside a mercury drugstore near the intersection of mendez. pete recently bought a bike rack. he was so excited he decided not to join the peloton from manila to sta rosa so he can test it. it was a steal coz it came with a 2-door pajero, hehehe. the trail: ridge 2 talk about sweat. who says uphills produce the most sweat, hehehe. the "pipe" the "shed" the "shed with 2 bikers and their bikes" waiting for some locals to descend before we start. the end on our way home after the long fireroad, we ended at a dried up river bed. can anybody guess where we are? i'll give away a prize: a generic handle bar to the lucky guy who posts immediately the answer. prize can only be picked up at either sm centerpoint sta mesa or burger king welcome rotonda, between 6pm and 8pm only. pics will be shown afterwards showing the prize and the lucky winner (aptly called awarding ceremonies, hehehe) took a break going home. we took the road going to evercrest from talisay. mix of fireroads (volcanic ash) and paved roads. here's how paul loads on carbo, hehehe. almost at the intersection of talisay and lemery. winds were strong, almost steered our handlebars in an awkward direction. just look at the trees behind paul. batulaw behind us stopped to enjoy the view (and tried pushing paul over the ridge, hehehe). here's what happened after we pushed paul, hehehe. holding onto dear life, hehehe. ;D after the ride. hungry and wasted. that's just pete though, hehehe.

Jon, is that your wife's shirt you're wearing? ?? correct! not only that. i was wearing her bikeshorts, too. hehe. ;D here's the story. when we were about to go to tagaytay for another bike trip, sunday morning, i unfortunately didnt bring enough clothes for 2 days. so i had no choice but to wear my used clothes from yesterday but unfortunately to my dismay, my soiled clothes smelled like @#$%! fortunately though my wife's clothes smelled ok. i was actually amazed becoz smelled as if it just came out of the closet. i was actually having a hard time wearing those clothes becoz its so small it hugged my body to the point that it limited my movement, thus it felt awkward overall (other than the fact that i look like a girl wearing it). anyways, after the ride i smelled like @#$% again. god da@n it! ;D

actually you're not suppose to smell used clothes........... there's something wrong with you jon..... its not just a simple obsession in biking.........better see a psychiatrist........hehehe i had to smell it to find out if it was edible, hehehe. better wear something than nothing, hehehe. ;D Blister, i dont think i'll try that trail when its wet, its slippery enough when dry, actually we remembered you when we got down that singletrack coz my foot is starting to have blisters ;D ;D biro lang brad hehe i actually told paul during the ride that the trail would've been more manageable if it was wet, but not too wet, say 2 or 3 days after a hard rain, would grip the tires fine. riding in loose, dried up soil is dangerous like what we did. dont worry jon they look good on you...next time match them with a pair of white sidi shoes the ultimate bling, hehehe. ;D now it would be awesome to see pink mtb shoes, hehehe. ;D and the winner is sabretooth. please read my previous post for pick up guidelines. all you have to do is text me when and where you'd like to pick it up based on the guideline. please bring valid ID and proof of purchase, hehehe. ;D a DTI representative will be present to witness the awarding for your pangkabuhayan handlebar showcase. ;D
