We were there!!! PinoyMTBiker members Bee and Titose tasted the action as well as TEAM 89 Pinoy Pasaway. Although we were not as strong as One by One and his partner, we manage to finish in the middle of the field. 27th out of 49 teams in our category. I crashed at the 11km mark of the bike section and hit the end of my handlebar with my left ribcage in the process and sent me gasping for air for several minutes. The run and kayak section was completed in pain and agony. Thanks to my partner Titose for his very supportive attitude, we still manage to finish the race together. Another PinoyMTBiker member PIDO was there to take photos, the rest of the pics courtesy of Kendy ni Titose. Before the start.... Meeting One by One... At the starting line.... Hardwares... Starting line and transition area.... One by One looks very relaxed... Bang! ... the 600M Le Mans start... Titose and Bee leaving the transition area.... At the transition area after the bike leg... Bee being attended for his injury.... Arya ulit!!! Leaving the transition for the run.... Coming in from the run section.... "Can I still do the kayak section?" I asked myself.... "To hell with pain, LET'S GO!".... Off we go... After 2km of paddling... The final dash to finish line.... We finish 3 hrs, 53 minutes and 27 seconds!!! What Bee failed to mention was the reason behind his crash... It was because a young medical volunteer flashed him a smile when we were completing one of the turns! Talk about lapse in concentration! ;D
Peace Partner Bee!

It's the puddle of mud, partner. It's the puddle of mud on the turn. ;D But that's actually a sweet smile. I saw it for the second time during the run section (without accident this time) and for the third time before we left the race venue. ;D
