hey guys it makes me so sad we can't enter amari anymore... you guys know of any alternative place to go on saturday and sunday mornings? i miss the wall where the bikes are placed, bikers sitting on the ground drinking coffee, the hotdog stand and mr. magtataho....  |

Joolz we (PinoyMTBiker urban) used to meet at lugawan and chitchat there then we sometimes go to intramuros and play on the walls. We could try learning to pedal kick accross gaps for cannons. ;D
Or you can try my micro trials course after I build it and I will sell you some grilled hotdogs and C2 hehe ;D

patrick ya I miss the fellas hangin-out in Lugawan, lets reclaim it hehehe from there on i also go to Intramuros then ongpin to buy hopia at Engbitin then to Quaipo. but during those rides I jump the sidewalks or any obstacles to come by me, i even fell-out of the bike sometime hehehe.

joolz im still making it, I bought some pallets. I have 6 now, but I dont have enough running space in the house. I tried bringing them out in the street gapping on pallets is a lot better because im forced to squeeze some distance. I went to amari last sunday and the entire ride was boring  . |

yup any rides this Saturday or Sunday, I ve seen AMARI already last Sunday, d@mn there are blue fences already and the lugawan was filed with our brother "roadies"

wow im sure the "Guardia Sibil" will blow his whistle again, sometimes bros upon entering p lang "sisitahin k n ng guard" thats why sometimes i used to hide to the blind side of the guard while a vehicle enters or exit.

I showed up at the Lugawan meeting point today knowing PinoyMTBiker's classic urban assaulters will meet.
Present were Wadesingson, Alien Scream, and Konablack.
Konablack was so pasaway. When he saw that the Amari seawall fence barrier was slightly ajar (small opening), sensing that there was no security guard in sight, he innocently entered knowing that he should not, and we obediently followed our PinoyMTBiker moderator leader. Alas! We found ourselves biking freely inside the restricted fenced area, reached Amari Powerplant with nary any whistle blowing, and had the whole expanse of urban assault and trial playground all by ourselves unhampered to practice on.
We were so impressed with Wadesingson showing his bag of tricks. Now the secret has been revealed. Pictures Alien Scream took while at the Amari Powerplant and will soon post will prove what I am about to say. Wadesingson is not only an XC and DH rider pala ... but an Urban Assaulter and Trials Competitor as well. Yes! Yes. He may have been rusty doing trials initially, and his freeride bike may have gathered dust. But once he warmed up kanina, By Golly ... his true BMX form came back, and we were mesmerized by shere number of tricks and stunts he successfully did. Magaling po siya!
How I enjoyed being present for this trials ride. Alien scream cannot be outdone and did his fair share of freewheelies and Puma-like jumps that had everybody present take a second look. Konablack jumped over obstacles and slapped them sometimes with his rear wheel. Moi naman as your dedicated XC rider was contented following and watching the three do impossible stunts.
I felt good. I felt proud. My ego ballooned high and mightly in my head, as if ...it is moi who is skilled and daring as an urban assaulter... like classic Idols...pasawaylouie, atomikmatchbox, patrick, and now PinoyMTBiker's new Trials Idol Unplugged...
