I passed through fort Bonifactio Global City just yesterday. I was saddened to realize there those giant painted signs saying "No Bicycle Riding allowed on this Road" Its sooo depressing. Assuming that you could buy/rent a unit there, would you like to live there if it involved having to live without your bike? I most certainly dont. What your opinion people?

They're not "strict" naman in implementing the no bikes allowed. I think it's just a caution to bikers coz they placed it in major roads where the vehicles run very fast. Sometimes ( or most of the times) I pass thru this "banned" roads.. wala naman. It's just that "nahiya"( ashamed) na lang ako so I avoided those roads.

Pass by that road just like an ordinary motorist, observe the rules and if your caught just say "I wasn't able to see the sign?!!?...

"No Bicycle Riding allowed on this Road" hmmmm
Worst comes to worst you can still bike on the sidewalk or the empty lots there, they might enforce it later you know.
For the regular urban saturday ride, Amari doesnt allow bikes on places we hang out too, then again vendors, fishing arent allowed as well. Actually all "not allowed" stuff posted in tiny signs are being violated hehe.

I felt the exact same way about the ban and about how strict they would probably(not) be but I actually saw a small group of cyclists being pulled over by an MMDA who might have been there exactly for that purpose. If it might mean anything, the bikers were, for lack of a better term, jologs, so I don't know what to think. CHeers and goodluck to anyone planning to veture in that direction.

That sign is there for a purpose. Its for the safety of the biker and motorist. It is a major road there and vehicle do travel on them faster than on the smaller roads.
They normally ignore the "pasaway bikers" but wait till you get into an accident on those banned roads. Wala kayong kalaban-laban! Even if its obvoiusly the fault of the vehicle.
So, travel on those banned roads w/ that in mind.

this is a better idea: when traveling there follow the sign!!!dont bike on that road!
they didnt mention about the side walk hehe you can always bike on the sidewalk its a lot safer. Ofcourse ride responsibly, if there are peds slow down.

Believe me, you would wan't to be on the sidewalk, if you got hit by a car or a vehicle for sometime hehehe
Have that feeling if I'm riding on a highway with fast cars or something like that...

They probably should consider putting a bike lane on those roads if they are wide enough.
