hey downhillers, i guess u guys havent tried the sta. rosa trail....its a hell of climb, but me and my friends have new way of riding this pure xc trail, we dicided to ride the climb backwards, due to the rains the ruts became biger and gnarlier,it feels like tagaytay kaso shorter but in some parts sure high speed and technical at the same time, medyo tame sya when you ride it but if you guys pedal fast down grabe its one hell of a ride.......on behalf of my team (censored) hope you guys shed some light on this topic....

agree...the 4 palapag uphill climb is a good downhill track also...lately what we've been doing is to climb the 4 palapag...rest at Majo's Gulaman Store...then reverse ride the 4 palapag. Word of caution though...lots of riders still climb that portion even after 10am. So be very careful else you will be hitting some bikers...or even local folks along the way. Ride safe and see you there sometime

brad. I think riding Sta Rosa backward is not safe for all riders especially on the Big climb area. This is the common cause of collision in Mtbiking which is riding the trail opposite the current trail flow.It will be unfair for all XC riders and bad for the trail at the big climb area because making it a downhill flow will easily erode and destroy the trail.Ride safe and go with the right trail flow.
