hi im still a newbie im intersted in trials ive watch some videos and read some threads, but i dont have any idea in building a trials bike... i just want to ask if you can help me, if what are the things to consider in bike trials. what kind of frames(type, size) and other equipments... ;D to all trials player where and whe do you play trials so i can watch of you guys and teach me some basic technique.....

I would advise you to get a small frame then have a rigid fork, long stem and bars, strong brakes that's all...
about the drivetrain, road cogset is much better (as they say) because it has smaller cog than the xc cogset...
Safety gears like helmet and gloves...
Me, I'm still stuck with the basics (pivot, trackstand, sidehops) hope we could train together...

what can you suggest on the frame regarding on the brand and size, anyway im a tall guy 6'3 so wat can u suggest on the size.

as for the frame!!!! the lower the better!!!! if you could get a trials frame like onza, brissa!!!!!
for cranks!!!!! get a strong cranks with a 22T ring... a 170 arm length
for cogs its for formallity to use a cogs in trials!!!!! you don't need to change gears in trials!!!!!!

to really do trials!!!!!!! you have to have a trials bike!!!!!!! if not its not really trials!!!!!!!

I'm using a XC frame, just look for shorter chainstays and a small sized frame, good for you, cause you're a tall guy, you could easily transfer your weight with a small bike...

jeff lenosky is not purely a trials rider so he has 36T ring on his cranks for jumps and parks!!!!!!

yup, BTW saw a premodified trials frame in cycle art (no seat), i wonder how much.... alien what is the common chainT & casetteT combination for trials?

usually 22T up front!!!! then in the middle of the cassette in the back!!!!!
