any bike shop can help you with the parts.. i mean ANY BIKE shop can get you the parts... the only problem you will have is if the parts or pyesa that you are getting is right for you...
the key here are. budget, riding style and a good guide for you..
DH bike is a very expensive bike, you are already spending 50k and still you will not get the parts you need... others build their bike PAUBRA style or PDE NA YAN thing..
if you are new to DH my suggestion is this.. get a generic hardtail with the correct geometry to you... get a good fork around 5" of travel and a decent chainguide and brakes...
from there.. learn the basics... learn your style of riding!!!
this will save you more money and learn the school of rocks the right way..
dehins porket maganda bike ay maganda rin ang ride!!!!
pasama ka kay redneb matyaga yan.... hehehehe

theres one kaso nasa davao, its a old model dh rig cost around 70K bnew, its a iron horse sgs team, good set-up, medyo may upgrade ng konti lng, the saddle no good, but totally whole bike its a big OK, last time nakita ko that was february this yr, bad news, i heard na closed n yong shop..... reasonable budget...... my q's for u is: how reasonable u r too in picking the DH answer that urself no need to post it....... reaason for this, i dont want u to end up building ur rig w/ automatiic pilot on it, it doesnt work that way........seriously! know ur limit if ur limit go beyond extreme theres no reasonable budget for this coz its a virus that hard to get away, no antidote, no making excuses, bottom line this is DH no less, no more evs see u when i c u up on any given mountains........ Guy, can any1 of you help me where to buy a good set-up of DH MTB w/ reasonable price? Thanks

raroy - Patience is the key in setting up your DH Bike... Having a godd budget sometimes is not enough... availability of the parts is another thing... where top get this parts that you need, how will they sell it? know what parts you really need and desire the most...try to chicka around some bike shops.... ask some polite questions, huwag mayabang at salbahe, try to negotiate the price, then canvass ka sa ibang shops... just say "babalikan ko n lang kasi parating na yung budget ko, pra may idea na ako... dami ko pa kasi kailangan eh... "... don't just buy.... negotiate properly and talk to the right person... every shop has a KEY Person....

i made a lot of new frnds in san pablo the last time i raced there.... these guys are cool!
they have the trails for all types of mtbike riding, they got the logistics and resources too host events, the enthusiasm of the san pablo riders is prolly what i admire best bout'em. Their LBS owned by mr. rili is a one stop shop and also a rider-information center.... just go there and they'l point you to where you wanna ride.... hehehehehe......
