hello to all dh readers... i have question to all dh rider about rear shock installation, because i seen some dh rider installed their rear shock with the chamber or piggy bank mounted at the main frame and some are mounted at the swing arm.. what are the advantages / disadvantages of this thing.. thank you... and this

just follow what the frame manufacturer's recommended shox position
not all shox are the same some shox piggyback is far away from the shox body,
there will be clearance issues in some dh frame,
that why some shox are fixed in the recommended position.
some even specified the brand of shox to use,
because the frame was designed using that shox etc. etc.

I agree w/ rocketman. It's only a clearance issue. You need to orient the shock so that it doesn't hit any part of the frame during compression.
