what about the average/ideal dh bikes wt? Stop thinking so much about bike weight gloriajong. I was planning to sell my V10 before because of the weight. But now that Im used to it + the dhx upgrade, it feels like a lighter bike. Dont be disappointed with your gloria. Get more saddle time and it will prove to be better than your old extension.

or maybe you can take pictures of it and keep it in your wallet so you can appreciate it more. sweet bike. but abyway, i do think that UCI riders try to keep their bikes as light as possible. you dont so dont expect to see fabian barel using a monster T ina world cup race anytime soon.

;DUCI ruling is as long as it is human pedaled powered bike, that's why the gear boxed honda RN01 was accepted. yes they are weight consyus!, the race bikes the UCI pro's use is lighter than that of production model/unit the u can buy. ;Dfor the UCI wide open courses, some UCI pro's input to their bike sponsors, saying their burly dh bikes is an overkill. that's why the sub 40 lbs dh set up come up intense M3 over the socom, iron horse SGS pro to the 38 lb sam hill's sunday and the burly V10 to the new 05 V10 the coil boxxer to air boxxer coil shox to air shox carbon fiber here and there. tube to tubeless set up etc. etc. ride monkey forum has a sweet 36.5 lb socom ;DIf you can set up your dh race bike light, good, because we don't have chairlifts and cable cars here in the islands.

Op cors the reduced weight comes at a price. Wont last for the next season. For sponsored riders its no problem since they get new bikes every season. Even 2x or more in a race season for some. Hence the diff between a factory race bike and production bike.
But for privateers like us. Our bikes should be stronger to last a lifetime. My 0.2c ;D

oy oy oy wat do u mean scrappe off the paint
check first with sir israel if that might void the warrant of arrest nyaheheheh
haw bawt go TUBELESS! jong! stans go go go.
yes its a fact,
pro/factory riders have different frames than the production models.
bcoz they are skilled and know what to do with the bike,
;Din america if product failure happens resulting to death or injury
the consumer can ;Dsew (tahi) the company.
that would be bad publicity, and there such a thing called product recall, over there
the american consumers are powerful than superman.
;Dand that's over there and not over here. hehehehe

yup yup yup! better start considering going tubeless jong. makes a lot of difference. its lighter and faster rolling than tubed wheels. although sometimes it really fails especially if your using new tyres. just make sure you always bring extra tubee.
but when your tyres already settled in tubeless set-up, chances of tubeless failure is quite less. get a tubeless rim and go stans. ;D
