criteria? mostly amount of races attented and finishes. so if a well known foreign rider's points is low, that means they're injured or no sponsor. that 's why it's so important for the RP team to go out of the country to compete.
For sure they will be up in the top 70. Oncada was up there on his heyday. i'm sure with Joey's young age. he will no doubt be doing good in his career. politics / vultures and bullshit aside of course.
Can we delegate a name ? or just maybe give our 100.00 pesos to Joey Barba directly for this trip. i'm sure we as a group of caring Filipino mountainbikers can make this happen and eventually us riders will promote our own internationally. the hell with the you know who.

Asian mountain bike Championship last year was in palawan joey was 7th, mike 10th and bans 15th, for this year, august sa Indonesia, then Sea games this november in danao, cebu. Our RP team can improve their raking and Joey can make it to Top 100.
;Dyes i will join, and pledge something for joey for his coming trip to indonesia.

Uly may plane fare na, funds is for everyday expenses.
Hey heard from atomyke problem for our Jr team member phil dh, JEFF (minaar) Odviar, errors in his birth certificate, he still has to get his passport. Jeff was 4th sa Jrs, last year Asian MTB.
give it directly to the rider it might end up in the officials pockets, I bet my butt mauna pa sila dun,
for joey barba, ask sa king's bike shop at quiapo.

Peeps,
This is what i got, i have Joey B's account number. we need to establish a date of when to start and delegate someone to do bookeeping for the deposits or what not. can someone show Joey this thread? i will txt him regarding this.
I think by now Indonesia is late, we should go for the Malaysian comp or whatever international comp comes up next.
100.00 pesos per and we're on our way!!!!!!!

I agree with Nono, it is now late for us to have a fund raising for Indonesia. Let us focus on other international competition. What is the next comp. except the SEA games which will be held in Danao?
Instead of just contributing 100 pesos why not make other fund raising projects were contributors will also get something, like RAFFLES.
I believe atomykmike can handle this easily considering his clout of friend and minions. (I'll help too) ;D

hey what happened to this thread. i hope it doesn't die a natural death!
i remembered joey when we were hanging out at kings when i replaced my headset coz my headset was somewhat busted but useable, siguro dahil sa kababagsak me tunog lang konti pag pinapaling ng todo ung handlebars sa kaliwa, and joey told me "arbor na lang pre yang headset kakabit ko sa bike ko na pang XC" and i wholeheartedly gave it to him. last thing i know i heard he won a local XC championship, and a wild thought that maybe he used his XC bike with my headset on it ;D and i thought it was awesome, para narin akong nanalo hehehe.
a hundred bucks is manageable for people who can afford high end bike parts (don't get me wrong, this doesn't include me though ;D) but think of what this guy can do with the proper funding and a little help. he might even beat the likes of gracia, minaar, pascal, etc.
i am reserving my P100.00 for "The little Big Guy" from dumaguete, kahit di na ako kumain ng hapunan *sob* just for joey! as cheezy as it sound but thats's for him!
to joey, i know you're reading the threads here from danao (i do hope), kamusta na? don't worry brad we got your back 100%! kick the living @#$% out of the competition's *ss as you always do, tapos pagbalik mo dito sa quiapo bili tayo ng palamig tsaka sky flakes dito ke kris sa tapat ;D
