For timed dh runs, try G shock on the left wrist or on the handle bars, crash proof brad.

I started DH using Giant NRS with cyclo comp that I also use for XC & dirt jumping! Until the rear shock blew up. ;D

Until the rear shock blew up. ;D tried doing urban on my NRS and yup, it felt like the shock will blow up from underneath me so i stopped using the bike on drops and urban assaults. i thought i was weird but i'm not alone i guess, hehehe. ;D cheers!

Actually I have one on my rig right now, dunno if its uncool to hav one but it helps me time my runs and get my ave speed. Scary if u see your goin 50 kph downhill...
