GADGETS, triathlon naman?! you've so many plans ha ;D This is what happens to your grandfathers who refuse to grow up or accept they are growing old. They THINK they're still fit to play with the boys. ;D ;D ;D Actually, I really need to abuse this body for a change! What better way than a 3-part-sport. Question: How come my left side of the waist area (appendix is on the right, diba) hurt? Also the solar plexus. This is after jogging for less than one kilometer! Actually, it hurts everywhere!!! Geesh! baka it's just a side stitch just ignore it

Just saw this thread. My last swim was at TdPF. I couldn't swim in the pools because I was scared of getting an infection on my huge gash (suffered from falling during the bike leg of the TdPF Tri). Last friday, Dec 14, I tried swimming at Polo Club -- yikes! All my swim endurance was GONE! One month of no swimming, wala na talaga, heheh! Kung Jan 20 nga yung plan, okay na rin... dehins na lang ako pupunta ng Subic (was planning to run the 21k). Anyway, ang target ko is sub-5 hours sa Pasig Marathon this coming Feb...

Geesh! baka it's just a side stitch just ignore it Here's an update on my "training". Once in a while when I'm not using my bike, I would jog on my way to work. Halfway through the 2Km distance, my side hurts (waist area). Tried jogging three times and it always hurts the same area. However, when I bike my way home, then use the stairs to climb 10 flights hiking my bike. Only my lungs hurt, not the sides of my midsection. This is perceptively more strenuous than jogging. Very strange. There must be something to do with the jogging that isn't being affected in stair climbing.

Let me take a shot here...
Your internals don't "jiggle" as much when climbing the stairs as compared to jogging on flats. I should know... my tits jiggle when I jog. they jiggle less when I'm riding on my bike.
Mag ride ka na lang. ;D

Being a PinoyMTBiker, I have an MTBike. I hope that's ok. Will just put slicks I guess.
Depending on the schedule, I'd like to join this if it pushes through.
