just a few suggestions...
you should start first with track stands, hopping and rocking. these will improve your balance while on a stationary position. once dialed, practice your rolling balance and how to do drops (except the pedal kick drop because you have to first learn how to do the pedal kick, hehehe). from there, practice those moves that involve using the drivetrain.
thanks.

Hello - I'm just new in MTBiking (like a week or so) and I find it very addicting. And I am glad we have this kind of community sharing ideas and experiences. Though it is almost enough to have bunch of articles and videos in the net, however I still find it useful if I can have some sort of a book or any formal references to learn some MTB tricks. Do you guys know some outlet that sell these kind of stuff? Cheers!
