Or probably bring extra footwear like the mojos and then change after the river crossing is over, I once did this when we did wawa hehehehe.. my very first cycling shoe was new back then.

never again will i cross a river knee deep using my bike. Last month when i upgraded my crank set, the bike mechanic opened the bb i saw the slimiest bb ever. mud, greese and sand all mixed up. next time, i shall carry my bike! =)

i used to not care what kind of terrain i was passing, may it be mud or 2 feet deep rivers. then the upgrades started and now, i am a new man. i exercise my biceps and carry my bike across.
