speedone air fork suspension lockout problem

im looking for a bike mechanic (nearby rizal,pasig or marikina area) my fork doesnt lock. can you recommend anyone.thanx in advance

i already did and its actually complicated especially if you dont have the necessary tools.. i actually went to skylarks here in cainta but their mechanic turned me down..another one in antipolo but refused.

could you share a link of the tutorial? there's a shock builder near batasan, they do rock shox mostly. farfetched but...try to find another branded fork that has the same internals, manitou, zoke, then bring your fork to their service center.

as far as tools are concerned, typical tools naman ang ginamit niya. 3, 4 and 5mm allen wrench, socket or adjustable wrench, pliers. Although dehins ko ire-recommend yung ginagamit niya na multi tool dahil baka dehins umabot sa lalim nung screws. Aside from my multi tool may hiwalay akong set ng allen wrenches.

OT: Halos lahat ng naging suspension fork ko may lockout. i would play with it during installation pero after nun never ko ginagamit kahit sa ahon. siguro dahil takot akong makalimutan na nakalock pala then the rough stuff happens.

actually i have the same mentality as you di rin naman ako mahilig mag lock ng suspension, pero iba pa rin yung psychological stress na alam mong may mali sa bike mo which could turn to something worst later on pag di agad na address yun lang naman sa akin.

Salamat Konablack, i will one of these days, actually medyo madami dami defects ang bike ko pero napagawa ko na yung iba ito lang talaga medyo komplikado.
Eto siguro yung cons ng pagbili sa bangketa ng quiapo, its a mountainpeak monster built bike. maporma matikas pero malalaman mo ang sakit pag nasakyan mo na..i think buying from reputable stores is highly recommended but then again i think it should be discuss in a separate thread, anyways thanks again ride safe.

Yeah, sa bisikleta "pay to play" din parang tsikot, you get what you pay for. btw, there are some reputable stores na may dehins rin maganda ang practice.

as for your fork...hehehe, you can find an excuse to upgrade, hehe.
