Me wifey's tagging along... at least that's what she told me. We plan to do a Wall run before the clinic (if that's possible with the All Terrain race on the same morning).

depending on how things are (availability of slots/armor, amongst other things...) or if i'd just opt to kibitz at the men's health race area, i'll probably join up.
i'll be tagging along with ronaldarca from commonwealth.

Padi Arnel, Thanks for organizing the clinic. I don't think I have become "better" yet (proof: lotsa traction pin holes on the shin, 1 inch front hops instead of bunny hop ... and several unsightly landings hehe) since I have relatively poor body coordination which takes lotsa practice to iron out; but at least I have seen how it is done properly and with more practice, hopefully I can bunny hop and jump without jumping off my pedals during landings hehe. The other students who are natural riders and who were able to pull off impressive hops, jumps and drops provide immense inspiration. Tol ang gagaling nyo! Thanks for bringing our friend Jonjon and his bike home. We owe you one padi. Mabalos na lang. No doubt the Pasaway genes were at work today when he tried the aggressive drop and jump combo and no doubt the same Pasaway genes will lead him back to the dirt for more fun.

i was kinda thinking of joining the clinic... but one thing led to another and i found myself registered in the men's health all terrain race... hehehe hemingways, it wasn't the easiest of choices since i know i could've used the skills you guys learned from the clinic during some of the downhill portions of the race, but i decided to sieze the opportunity and ended up with a shirt (300bucks na nga yung reg fee, pinahirapan pa ako before i could claim the shirt)... no really complaining, just ranting for the sake of it

congrats to the participants and organizers of this clinic. specially to the coaches and ka-batch, arnel (alphabolt), who have put on so much time in preparing and seeing to it that it materializes and be conducted as expected, you're so cool brad., siyempre to the participants of the clinic who came all the way from as far as sta ana and tondo. as what arnel said earlier, "time to give back to the sport"....... so when do we expect the bike repair clinic? @who know who you are

Thanks batchmate Arnel, and to Coaches Eboy, Bonggie and Paolo, and everyone who made the clinic a success. This should be a regular thing.
BTW, get well soon, Jonjon. Dont worry dude, from my experience, its painful at first but usually heals easily.

Thanks to: Alphabot, for organizing the ride; the coaches (Ebo, Bonggie, Paolo and the kids!); and, our fellow riders, who made the clinic real fun! Next to Jonjon, I think I had the most injuries. Two scraped knees, scraped shin, slightly bruised shoulder, scratches on forehead and right cheek, but my ego was intact! ;D My aging body felt the pain only after waking up this morning. Didn't realize that bunny hopping could really be so taxing on your muscles. I am out to buy knee/shin pads and probably a full face helmet. You really need these things, guys. I second the motion, this should be a regular thing. If only Arnel and the coaches haven't learned from the experience that PMTBers are a handful .

sir mon, the very agressive one ;D you bought alot of real estate there sir, next time talaga invest na tayo for some FF helmet and shin/elbow guards hopefully your esmi wasnt mad at your bruises. bunny hops are good pala ha, i feel aching at my abs, looks like a good upper-body workout thanks guys, you're lots of fun. jonjon will go to the docs later i think for further assessment of his injury. hopefully you get back in the groove soon brad
